Good to see the streak continues. I liked this episode and how it dealt with Korra's struggles during the past years, and I was pleased by the unexpected focus to her rehabilitation with Katara. Even considering the rest of the scenes considering her return to the continent are brushed over, it didn't feel rushed.
I suppose that vision of the Avatar State is working as an agent or representation of Raava in order for Korra to regain her abilities, so I guess the next episode is going to give some answers in that berserker vision.

And obviously the entrance of the Melon Lord was pretty good, and also that picture of Aang. It looks like we are going to get some backstory on what Toph did, and according to the trailer
the Airchildren
are possibly going to meet her.

I wish I went into this episode blind instead of reading impressions here first, was expecting too much I guess.

Still a solid episode, hopefully its a good start to developing korra even more. The toph appearance felt, well, unsurprising really. Plus with her in her OG outfit and saying twinkle toes, it just felt like her appearance was just fan service. Still I can't wait to see more of what she can do and teach Korra.

S4 off to a good start.

Toph Will Show Up On Screen At Least Once During Book 4

Will Happen:

TacticalFox88 - will allow someone to pick his avatar change or something *shrugs*
Phoenician_Viking

Won't Happen:

Trey - Will change avatar for 2 months.
Tuck - Azula picks avatar if wrong.

Do your worst, villains.

Saw the latest episode.

Getting an Empire Strikes Back vibe from the setup to the next episode.
Spirit Korra reminds me so much that Platinum's making a Legend of Korra game. Almost all the games they make has some sort of "Virgil" character that you fight with.

Man really loved this episode. I wont go into too much detail but it was awesome.

And is it just me or is the animation gotten better, I know there wasn't a lot of bending in this episode but it just looked really great the water bending in particular.

So nobody can hear a thing when thirty people commenting? :D
How about an irc channel were we can chat about it?
So nobody can see anything when thirty people are typing?

I'm down. Seriously though, IRC was pretty distracting when we were watching the MGSV TGS stream, but that's what pause is for.

Mako's letter might be one of my favourite parts of the episode.

"Weather is fair. Chance of snow showers later. But enough joking around."

I regulary watched anime and my little pony with others while chatting. If you want to concentrate on the show, e.g. in a suspense moment, you just ignore the chat. Can't do that easily with people talking. Trust me, I know.

I thought Bolin's eloquent letter actually being something Korra was hearing in her head and the reality being crudely drawn pictures was pretty hilarious.

Im stillt hinking about that. Korra reads actually some kind of paper with writte characters on it. So I thought the drawings were just extra material and Bolin is actually writting this way thanks to Kuvira training.
Would be weird if Korras mental Bolin were any kind of eloquent.

I thought this too.
