They initially marketed it for a full 3 months to be available at launch of the PS4, only announcing a vague delay a month before launch.
They then set a new release date in April.
Never once indicating that PS+ edition would come out at a different date, and making repeated implications it would.. then outright saying it would.
The lack of "middle ground" convo here is sort of nuts.. it's either people irrationally angry or people irrationally defending.
Sony has been selling PS+ subscriptions w/ Drive Club PS+ marketing for over a year now.. let's not pretend they haven't.. "well technically they didn't PROMISE you anything, I mean LEGALLY they can never release it".. this is anti-consumer nonsense and it is all over this thread.
It's not worthy of a law suit, but it's pretty crazy that it's not considered "nearly objectively poor service" to do this. How poor you think it is should be the convo, not "well they don't have to give you anything, FINE PRINT!"
