you forgot
everything is Korra's fault
for some reason
lol. you really don't like a lot of fans huh
seems like most of your posts are anger about how fans perceive Korra. Which I can get, I think fans have been pretty unfair to her. But I also think that in part, has to do with the writers doing a pretty bad job with the character. What I see is, Korra is a flawed show that hasn't always done the best job executing plot, and character development. Logically, it all makes sense and falls into place. A lot of the things people hated about Korra (a lot of the things they find frustrating about her), is actually explained by the actions of others or plot elements (so she isn't just a terrible person). But the way the story was told....you pretty much got a high dose of Korra being awful, and very little time with the stuff that actually explained why she's the way she is (often this was very quick exposition).
Also, while Korra is certainly not the worst Avatar ever (like some people act like), I would say the story plays out in a way where Korra has a lot more failures then Aang did. And even when she succeeds (like completing Harmonic Convergence) she pretty much stumbled across the finish line, and really only won with the help of Jinora. That said, there was no reason to be down on Korra in Book 3. She did nothing wrong. And I do not understand why anyone blamed her for how the finale played out. I would say, Book 3 Korra was pretty much spot on the entire season, and really can't be blamed for anything. And nothing she did was bad. So I don't get why people would be hard on her for any of that. My best guess I suppose, if these are people that have just come to dislike the character from Book 1 and 2...and so they are unable to look past that, and accept when Korra actually does good.
I think the writers did a pretty good job commenting on that (her low approval ratings lol, and the press thinking she's the worst thing ever). I find it kind of interesting, cuz during an interview in Book 2, the writers admitted that they hated Korra. They couldn't stand her. But they said they did that to highlight her redemption/change in the back half. But the way they transitioned her to changing, was so clunky/sloppy (she gets amnesia, remembers her origin....and suddenly her personality changes. Wat). I also think it's lazy, to make a character terrible/unlikable in high doses, just because you think it will make the redemption all that much more stronger. There are better ways of achieving that. So I can't help but feel the writers have shot themselves in the foot by how they have handled this character.
ALSO I don't care what any of you say, that scene with Korra pulling the judge out of the car and threatening to kill him was mad cringe. Korra da mafioso. Going to break ya legs.
