32gb vs 64gb pricing
Do we know that the $650 is the Google Play Store price? When the Nexus 5 launched it was $350 directly from google, but T-Mobile was charging $450 for it without subsidies.
Motorola said the 650 price is what it will start at in Google play. This is why I am waiting to see the Play Store pricing before freaking out.

650. Motorola point blank said that is the Google play starting price.Same.
Ignore that picture that is not US currency. Motorola confirmed in their press release that the STARTING pric is 649

Guys just read the press release. It's way easier than guessing...

Hope they support the Nexus 9 more than they did the 10.
That said - anyone want a Nexus 4 and 10? Good Price - 1000$
Price is completely unaffordable for me and probably most other low income people. Guess Google no longer wants me or the average person as a customer.
I don't understand the pricing cries. It's 650 off contract. Aren't phones usually even higher than that off contract?

Same.

It's a blog post, not a press release, so the level of pre-release scrutiny isn't quite as high.

There's only so much you can do with price on a 6inch phone. You need a decent SOC and plenty of RAM to drive the display and you can't half-ass the battery either which was one of Google's favourite tactics to get the price down on the Nexus 4 and 5.
Between the Moto G and the Nexus 5 they've got the lower end covered. A six inch phone just cannot be a budget product. Yet.
Do itI hope Lollipop breathes new life into my Nexus 5 in terms of battery life.
Otherwise, my mind is already going to a dark place -- namely, putting down $400 upfront at T-Mobile and having them add the rest to my bill ($10 more per month for 24 months). Going through T-Mobile would also give me insurance coverage...
TALK ME OUT OF THIS DARK LINE OF THIBKIG, GAF.
To those holding out hope for the Play Store, don't: https://sites.google.com/a/pressatgoogle.com/android-10-15/nexus6
Bs. One Plus released a premium device with 64gb storage for $350.

That argument falls a bit flat because you are comparing a 1080p phone to a QHD (2560x1440) phone.
They're also selling those phones at a massive loss because they're a new company trying to gain traction.
Yeah, I'd rather spend $650 on an iPhone than a Motorola device. The resale values on the Nexus devices didn't bother me that much as their successors were cheap enough, but $650 for an N6 that wont hold value like a Apple or Samsung device a year from now isn't worth it to me. I can get $200 for my N4, so I guess I'll sell it and pick up a G2 sidegrade for $250 and splurge on something with a 20mn chip and great battery life next year.
If it's about that for a 32GB, then it would be much more reasonable. 32GB with those specs and UNDER $600 would be a pretty big deal.
