Sorry but i know the shit i had, they were all invariably crap after few years, one almost blew up in my hand and i pride in having almost all my phones intact after i use them for several years.I highly doubt that is the iphone experience but you can enlighten us all by saying which big problems they have that make the phone unusable after a while.
I went through 5 different models of Xiaomi, one from the Mi line the others redmi pro. They were all awful after 2 years, and this is not just a me thing to the point everyone was complaining when they found out they would be changing our 13 pros with 14 pros.

I don't know about redmi or Xiaomi but I've had my OnePlus 11 for 2.5 years and it's just as good now as then when I got it.

That's right, I have had Huawei Mate 20 pro for more than 5 years and it is still a good phone, and it works very well.

So they are not disposable products, it depends on how you take care of them.

Whichever phone LineageOS (with microG, if you really want Google's user space apps) works best on.
Preferably a Sony Xperia
