What makes it worse is that there is pretty much no incentive to use them considering you have to back out and then deep into to a whole other menu to equip them. Yeah, fuck that.

GGs Smedwicks. I think you should be more aggressive with PK Thunder harassment. Stay away from unsafe stuff. Make me work for the damage.

I'm starting to learn that air attacks are way worse against Bowser because one or two hits can fuck me up way more than Lucina or someone.
And yeah, I need to start mixing up from PK Flash and PK Thunder.
Not gonna lie I got mad hype when your shield ended up breaking, and when I got that PK Flash kill, lol.
I hope there are no more DMC games just for this

The big thing with Bowser is that he probably has some of the best and most versatile punish options in the game out of shield. You need to be safe and confident in your approach.

No, I would try my best to time it to either get a hit or force a near shield break when he would get up on the ledge. I've been using it on For Glory and it's been working a bit, so I've tried it here with varying success.
A full PK Flash is about one or two hits from breaking a full shield.

Thanks. Your Fire Breath gimps were fantastic and left me super salty, lol. Is it more situational because of how Ness's recovery works, or is it good against all characters?
And man, it astonishes me how much better Bowser is compared to past versions. He really seems like a brand new character completely.

Ness vs Marth/Lucina is always a fun matchup in this game... after suffering through the chain grab nonsense in Brawl it's refreshing.

The Fire Breath is good against all characters, but best against Ness. I have some followups that I think will work with it, but I haven't tried them yet. In a worst case scenario, I get another ~10% as opponents recover. Browser can't really chase off stage well.
Browser is solid, but takes a lot of patience to play. No projectiles, and no easy cheap stuff make it take a while. He just makes sense to me in a way that no other character does, though. Maybe Megaman comes second in feeling "right" to me.
No lag spikes, but the delay got to me. I couldn't input DI fast enough so I died at around 70 percent each time.
That and side step down smash online get to me eventually when I end up eating the hit by being too slow on the punish.

also the explosions on the car are straight from metal slug (or kof, definitely a snk game)
Someone made a good point to either James or David on commentary- has Ricky ever played a Fireball character? She may just not play to her experience/skillset.

Edit: There are several characters I have yet to encounter (fairly new, still) and Ness is one of them. Those normals sure have some reach; was a pain to deal with at times. And it's interesting, every time I've faced someone, I've got a similar comment concerning Sonic; I guess he's really not prevalent. I love playing as him so much.
Also, connection was good—at least on my end—which was nice.

The delay affected some punishes, but I'd say most of my problems were from trying to catch Sonic to begin with. I'm doing too many jump out of shield to punish (and failing) instead of letting go of shield, and it's hurting me a lot. I'll have to change it up :/
