Didn't get to play much because my 360 disc drive kicked the bucket shortly after it came out. I got the 1000/1000 on GoW1 and skipped GoW2

I think this is inevitable. I'm curious if they can knock it out for next holiday season. GeoW Collection holiday 2015 then GeoW 4 holiday 2016. It would follow the same pattern as MCC and Halo 5.

Also, I'd be all over this. Never did finish the first two campaigns.

Judgement ruined the series IMHO.

The campaign was good, but they ruined what Horde Mode was in Gears 3 and that turned me off big time.

Aw, Gears 3 had MP on servers. Though later you needed all the DLC to be on them, which was shitty.

Well, to prevent the possibility of the older games showing up on other platforms, for starters.

The very least I would find acceptable would be a "remaster" like the one for The Last Of Us, and still, I wouldn't ever go full price for that.

Repacking and reselling at a full game price it's plain steal in my book.

Feels like this next gen is all about cross-gen games and repacks.

All three games with basically the MCC treatment? That would be worth the price. Even if the "remaster" is just making them 1080p/60. Part of it too is the convenience. Having access to ALL those multiplayer maps from one disc is extremely enticing to me.

I want to believe.

Edit: I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I want Judgment in the collection as well.

I feel like the games in the Gears universe are more closely tied together than the games in the Halo universe.

Give me the option to play through every story mission in the franchise chronologically, and I will be a very happy man.

RAAM's Shadow -> Judgment minus Aftermath -> Gears 1 -> Gears 2 -> Gears 3 + Aftermath

I'd like this too mostly because I haven't played it yet and probably won't unless it ends up on current gen.

To stop Epic from release the games on PS4 etc, to ensure they have the ability to do the work they currently are on changing playlists etc and it gives them all the code base to work from.

Of course, unless the Xbox division is run by buffoons then a collection is a certainty after the way MCC has gone down but there could be several reasons for it.

Also, I expect Judgment to be included, the campaign was pretty good even if I didn't wholly enjoy the forced stars aspect of it and Overrun mode was good too. Its certainly not the best game in the series but I thought the writing was actually the best and campaign overall had fewer low points then the other games, even if it didnt really have any of the same great set-pieces the others had.

All the single player DLC included in order as well please, including the PC level of Gears 1

I was wondering, how much work would Gears 1/2 require to eliminate hosts advantage etc and get it running with dedicated servers?

Would buy this so quick. Though I'd want Judgment in there as well so the package is "complete". Just move to UE4, 1080p/60, maybe add 3D, and we're set. Even Gears 1 is generally clean/modern enough that the upscale is enough (though standardizing the controls/abilities would be a great bonus).

No microtransactions and all weapon skins and characters are reasonable unlockables.

And add a new achievement Seriously 4.0 where you have to get 1,000,000,000 kills in a single match using only a snub, headshots only while down and butt naked (using the kinect camera to verify that you are butt naked).

It's great that they *may* be working on a collection. I consider myself a moderate Gears fan, though I skipped out on Judgment. For that reason, I'm not sure if I'd purchase this if it only had 1-3. If Judgment was included, or there was some kind of bonus or beta for Gears 4, then I'd likely bite.

Whether the retweet was actually a mistake or not, I think it's a no brainer that we will get this. 2016 seems likely to me. 2015 is halo 5 and I don't think the new gears will be ready by 2016, so that's a good slot for it.

In fact I bet thats what a chunk of Black Tusk is doing now, give them a chance to mess with the older Gears games and get familiar with them while they work on Gears 4 production.
