I'm still wondering if there is going to be a major plot shift in the back half. This show has done that before (where a major plot is unknown, and then shifts the entire focus in the back half). Can Kuvira really be it? I dunno. A lot of people keep bringing up the Red Lotus. I guess that makes sense, since they are anti-government, and she's 100% opposite of what they wanted to happen. Maybe they will attack her and mess her up. Causing more chaos. Maybe this plot will just descend into a full out war between these factions? So a lot of people dying, and the earth kingdom ending up being more messed up.

Only thing is, I can't imagine the Red Lotus are THAT massive, to be able to take on an army.,,

I'm super stoked that you're going through with it.

I would be shocked if Kuvira is all that S4 has to offer. I mean, this is not only the end of the series, but possibly the franchise as a whole. There has to be more. Plus, Kuvira played her hand way too early if she was going to be the only big bad. Zaheer took almost the entire season before we found out what his ultimate goal was.

On the side, did anyone else notice that Toph told Korra the exact same thing that every villain in the show has said? That she's not needed and the world will go on without her? Plus Season Four is about Balance. Put me in the Korra depowered/dead camp. It feels like the whole series has been building to a world without the avatar.

I've seen TTGL about two or three times and I have no problem with it. If I could buy the blu rays without blowing through a paycheck I'd own them. So if it's as good and over the top as that I'll be fine with it. Why is it that when I googled Kill La Kill and Korra I just get a metric fuckton of hentai?

Then you have a higher chance of liking it, but there's some stuff that will just make you uncomfortable. But when it's good, it's hard not to love it. I'd go for it.

If I can watch Elfen Lied and find if fine and even side with Nu in some parts then I should be fine. I'll probably have access to some of it soonish after I make some digital space.
 
If Makorra (or any pairing involving Korra except probably Korrasami) happens again then it's just meaningless pandering at this point, they already were in a months-long relationship and called it quits after realizing they had problems.

Won't Happen:

The End of the Avatar (achieving peace, no need for the Avatar cycle by the end of the series)
Korra losing her Abilities Permanently/ Korra Dies/ Korra Loses her Avatar Status

And if it does happen, I'll wear one of those horrible/hilarious mixed faces

Two days till the game comes out (then Bayonetta 2 comes out later in the week, heh should be a good week for platinum games)! Planning on picking it up on steam whether it be when it comes out or sometime down the road, even through I probably should use a controller then.
 
You know, I'm trying to imagine Series 3 of Avatar, and I just realized they cannot pander to us the way they did with TLA, the way they do with Iroh and Toph.

I mean, what's gonna happen? Are we going to have Wise Sage Mako come down from the spirit world to give the avatar advise? Is Bolin going to be hanging out in a secluded Swamp ready to play Yoda? Visiting Grandma Asami might be all we get, because Asami is the only tolerable one of the group.

Just a meme started in Japan or something. The joke is taking anime charcters and turning their scenes into moments where the character is informing the protagonist they are pregnant (and they are the father). Not too sure the exact origin. Or why it took off. I don't find it particularly funny. Although some of the pics looks funny with the edit. But yah the joke itself...*shrugs*

I still think that Asami had no reason to be friends with these people in season 2.
