Hot damn you're in for a treat

Good to hear. The only issue I had when I left Android was how shitty my X got at the end there, so laggy. That's the one thing I do love about iOS is that, while new updates may have issues on some phones typically you can go a few years and the phone will work perfectly.
Just have to get that Nexus ordered on the Play store next week, and when it gets in sell the 6 Plus for a profit. :P

I really hope we get some videos soon.

Doubt that, Dutch Play Store has it priced at 389 with 9,99 postage, while the regular Nexus 9 price is 399.

Play store always charges 10 quid for postage on hardware (any I've bought any way).

Ooooh, white back with an all black front? That's what I've always wanted from white devices! (always disliked when screens are surrounded by white)

Good to hear that they like the camera so far, the only thing stopping me from getting the new Moto X was the battery life and the camera.

If the Nexus 6 is able to fix both of those issues I think this may be my next phone! ...As long as it's not TOO gigantic. I'm used to my Note 2's 5.5in screen, so hopefully this wont be a major adjustment. A lack of expandable memory is always a bummer for me, but at least you can get this in 64 GB, that's definitely enough for me.

Let's hope for the final review to be a complete 180 "because iPhone".
Wait, where do you live? :|
Yup, definitely!
I live in canada where it's 750 canadian which is awful. And then you add taxes on top of that. Goes up to 850. Throw shipping since I bet they still charge for that too and boom, looking at close 900.

I love both devices but can only have one... tough decision. Keep the Nexus 5 and buy the Nexus 9 or sell it and get a Nexus 6... The hands on videos didn't make this any easier.

And the front of the Moto X is AMOLED, too, so it should look pretty gorgeous.
But the Moto X also is a pretty remarkable device; and as far as both battery and camera are concerned, I would at least wait for owners to talk about their experience once Lollipop drops...

Man that sucks. It's one of the things that shocked me when I was back in Toronto; such a magnificent city for basically everything else.
I bet a trip to the US would result in a less pricey "experience".
Is the nexus 6 backing made of polycarbonate plastic material? Looks good.

Yup. Same ones as on the Moto X.

Hey all I know is the nexus 5 and one plus are still 350 here!

Let just hope it won't be $750. Maybe $700! They didn't charge extra $50 for Nexus 9 but just $30 when we factor exchange rate. Hopefully they will do the same on Nexus 6.

I'm intrigued as to what the UK pricing will be for the N6. As someone who got their first Android phone the other week (Z3 btw) I wonder If I have made a mistake. Saying this, the Z3 is a very good phone.

You can expect it to be £519 off contract, unless they suddenly decide to not direct convert euro price and also suddenly stop doing €1=$1 conversion.

Dan pls, you didn't make a mistake. Embrace your Xperia family membership.

Yeah it'll be well over £500.

I just picked up an iPad mini with Retina and getting rid of my Nexus 7. The N7 has served me well, but I have android as my phone and needed an iOS device. Rather have an iPad than an iPhone. I won't get Lollipop till my phone gets it :(

I went from being sold to I need it NOW! Looks really good but I am getting it in blue. Also 5x5 icon grid.

Ah, who cares. I would never use the stock launcher anyways. Lacks too many crucial features.
Also, yeah. I'd definitely get the Midnight Blue one myself.

My my...god damn Nexus 6 looks hot laid down on its screen.

Can't really stand my Nexus 5's shitty battery anymore. Buying the 6 day one, my first venture into big phones...

Keep in mind Google gave them this unit to test. We don't know if they altered camera settings before giving them the unit to test, plus it seems like it was in a controlled environment.

Seriously, main reason i'm upgrading.

The battery life on the Nexus 6 is a still a huge question mark. The G3's battery took a huge hit from its predecessor due to the QHD screen, and the Nexus 6 has an even bigger display by .5 inches. The former has a 3000mAh battery, and the latter has a 3220. So, that may offset the display difference, but I'm still worried.

Hey I just made a thread asking this, but it was overlooked rather quickly.

I'm about to switch from an AT&T iPhone to a Verizon Android, and I'm not sure which one to go with.

Moto X second gen looks like a clean more stream-lined experience, but will it last me 2 years?

If possible, should I wait to see the Verizon Nexus 6 contract options?

Would a Nexus 5 feel super dated before my contract is up?

What about the Galaxy S5?

Note 4 has a similar screen and battery size and its battery life is pretty amazing. So it would be safe to assume that given L's battery optimizations, N6's battery life should be pretty good.

Get a N6. If that's too big, get a Moto X. No a N5 won't feel dated.
