Whedon/Marvel about to show what Mutant powers are suppose to look like on screen.

Gawd has returned.

Don't you think it's a little too early to be saying this Quicksilver is better than the Xmen version? We've seen, like, 0.5 seconds of it in action so far.

Yeah all they did there is slow down everyone in the scene? I liked the qucksilver in xmen where everyone was at a stand still because he was so fast!

Not really, to me at least, from this little snippet. Looks off. QS was done very well in X-men.

The end "There are no strings on me" line was pretty fucking awesome, haha.

I'm guessing Serkis is Klaw, which would give a justification for Ultron getting Vibranium and set up a future appearance for Black Panther and Wakanda.

Klaw makes the most sense for a Black Panther stand-alone film villain... I'm not sure if Serkis would be their pick for that villain. Then again, maybe they really have no intentions of letting Black Panther have his own film.

Serkis as Klaw solves the "where's vibranium" problem for Ultron and Cap, along with bringing in Wakanda and BP. Don't know why they'd show him if he was just a bit part tbh.

Ultron is the best part of this trailer. Hopefully he's not a complete pushover as that is probably the main weakness of most marvel movies.

You can tell that from 1-2 seconds of footage in a trailer?

Then again you can tell this in less than a minute from the trailer even being posted so that kinda says everything.

From that snippet we see the creative design on speed. And it's far superior in AoU compared to X-Men.

I don't expect Whedon to ape the Matrix bullet time slowdown.

I saw the trailer before the thread.

Try again.

Most likely referring to the two having visible "comic book" powers, instead of them being invisible or toned down or something.

Bingo.

Maybe they'd want him to do some of his crazy CG expression stuff for when they turn Klaw into a being of pure sound?

I'm having trouble thinking of another character that makes sense from the very little we've seen so far.

Can someone please post the gif of Quicksilver from the end of TWS where he's zipping around the room so we can stop this nonsense talk?

Edit: look at that I did it myself

At least Ultron is literally a metal robot and not a pretty man so we won't have to see too much of the character being swarmed by tumblr or devianart.

Right?

James Spader rules but that had to be one of the most generic trailers I've ever seen. The Pinocchio song was super clumsy.

how about somebody post a gif of the flash, dofp quicksilver and the 1 gif we have of this quicksilver together with their speed

The only good thing about this was Ultron last bit everything else was just the same ol destruction, everyone hopeless blah blah.

The movie could be godlike and like anything out there but come on man this trailer was decent at best and showed nothing we haven't seen before, Hulkbuster was very similar to the one on IM3 etc.

Ultron feels like he's in the runner up for one of the scariest comic book movie villains.

Spader's delivery, the uncanny robot builds that start off from malformed scraps, the endless multiplication. He's playing the part of an insidious virus. It's everything lifeless and robotic about the Terminator cranked up to eleven.

I can't wait.
