Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer #1

Spader was inspired casting for the voicework, I am pretty damn excited to see the final product. I'm hoping Whedon and Co follow through on their word that this movie will be a bit less grandiose and more personal than the first Avengers, silly as it seems to have the Avengers going up against a "smaller" threat; I'm definitely tired of the MCU movies ending so similarly.

Not getting the raving about Whedon quicksilver, though, powers look pretty similar to Singer version, and we can't really tell from the trailer if he's as fun of a character to watch as in DOFP. I'm sure he'll have his moments to shine, though.
I hope the actor can act better than in Godzilla, though.

In all seriousness, Marvel's gotta be pissed that someone stole their thunder and leaked the trailer before they had a chance to premiere it (and probably going to used to increase ratings for Agents of SHIELD). WB just fined someone $5 million for leaking Batman v Superman details, you gotta know that Marvel/Disney is sending their assassins to whoever leaked the trailer.

To the man/woman who sacrificed their career and livelihood to give us this trailer, we salute you.

Isn't that just old pieces of Iron Man armor fused together?

in this movie, it seems to be Tony who creates Ultron, and not Hank Pym - as he isn't in it.. the trailer and Tony's line about it being something he started would appear to support this

How they have Quicksilver i thought Fox has the rights to him?

I have to say, every single time someone brings up the nonsensical "where are the other Avengers" in every Phase 2 movie, I feel like this movie is exactly why.

What requires any multiple Avenger coming together for Iron Man 3? Mandarin's organization was a national terrorist threat but the job of hunting them down was handled by the Iron Patriot. I guess the closest thing you can say is the President being kidnapped but that happens under everyone's noses. What requires the Avengers coming together for The Winter Soldier? Steve is basically being monitored the entire movie by Shield, why would he pop by the Avengers Tower to ask Iron Man for help which is probably the most expected place they'd look for him? No one else even knows what the Insight Helicarriers are used for so no one outside of Shield knows what's at stake.

Meanwhile in Age of Ultron a rogue AI builds up an insurmountable level of power that allows it to spread and assimilate, tearing down society and stand as a Skynet-esque threat against mankind. The only people who can deal with it are all forced into the fold, required to play a part. Something in here is at stake for everyone involved.

All of the above is probably obvious but the fact that there are still people out there who keep asking the question is relatively baffling.

That trailer was pretty lame tbh. Maybe lame isn't the right word but my interest wasn't piqued at all until they showed ultron. After 4 movies (especially after IM 3) the suits are kinda worn out.

You somehow think that trailer warrants the spastic excitement so far? Your favorite Halloween costumes finally able to find it within themselves to truly team up to beatdown the bad robot before the third act is finished?

To comment on the trailer? Watch you make MarvelGate a thing?

Transformers-tier dumb.

It's about time someone tried to apply Adobe after effects to a TJ Max back-to-school sale ad.

Are you doing a bit here?

Spader's tone coupled with that creepy movement is really effective. Hopefully we get more of it and great casting.
Yeah, it has to be my favorite part of the trailer. He looks and sounds so menacing, I love it. Blacklist Spader coming to wreck some shit up.
