Lol, it looks like Link's Amiibo comes with a bonus urine sample.
In class and couldn't contain my laughter, thanks!

Oh great news! I'll wait for that! Thanks!
Had no idea nintendo was gonna do a display for these wonder how much they gonna put into amiiboMy Walmart had this display up for them yesterday: http://i.imgur.com/o0XjQ9T.jpg
And yes, they look extremely cheap in person and this display doesn't explain shit about them. I clicked on the Zelda one, dragged a link figure on the screen to the upad, and... Got a Zelda history slideshow.
This is a forum full of members who have sharp enough eyes to notice differences in resolution and complains when work in progress marketing looks different from the final product but now we have people seeing no difference other than lighting or saying it was expected that these figures would look different in mass production.

Because obviously those are the same people, or that both situations are in any way comparable.
Come on, don't be dense.
Sure. It's a figma I got last year, it's lovely.
They don't look that bad to me... though that urine-yellow stand for Link is pretty inexcusable.
Not always, just look at GI Joe and Star Wars figures from conventions.Yes, this is how toys work. Hand painted prototypes will look better.
That doll doesn't have nfcfor $13 these look really bad....
for reference, the assassins creed action figures can be had for $13

bu...bu....they look better than McDonalds toys and...they are toys!!...and lighting!!
You were discussing something? lolI thought we were discussing build quality and not artstyle...
Now I want a Big Mac. Thanks.
Do you really have to be that guy?

Someone has to point that the arguments used to defend the bad quality of the figurines are laughable.
...but this one especially cracks me up. Surely someone HAD to have noticed that looked really wrong. Even clear plastic would have been better.Lol, it looks like Link's Amiibo comes with a bonus urine sample.

Not irrelevant at all.. its a reason why Nintendo could cheapen out on quality. And its not about artstyle its what the amiibos are mario, peach, donkey kong. Those brands alone are value props. The point of the thread is the quality of the figurines. If they sell 10x more or if they have awesome artstyle is quite irrelevant, if you ask me.
1. No there doesn't
2. A majority of the arguments being given are legit factors in play
3. You're doing more work for your agenda then the people you're calling out.
