Valkyria Chronicles for PC [Nov 11, £14/20/$20, has all DLC, 60fps/1080p+, $14 GMG]

Finally, more people get to experience this game instead of being forced to trudge through used games at GameStop or upsold on new copies.

Buy multiple copies so that port begging Vanquish will work too. This news is ironic for me at least. I've only played the game once, enjoyed the hell out of it and was then let down by the news that the sequel was going to the handheld side of things. Was going to visit my aunt soon, who loves RPGs/JRPGs/Strat RPGS and she's never played this, and I was going to get her to check it out.

I'll probably buy it on PC once it hits just to give me an excuse to play through it again.

What's interesting is that this is an old, PS3-only game on a custom engine. So I'd assume it's not a trivial title to port. It's honestly the last one I would have expected.

I'm extremely happy about it of course, and I really hope it will do well. I'll put ads for the game into GeDoSaTo if I have to :P

Always wanted to check this one out. Guess I have no excuse now.

Interesting to see plans morphing into possibly better outcomes. The original became one of my favorite, if not my favorite, strategy RPGs. Can't wait to see how the PC port turns out.

Man, just a year ago the very idea sounded absolutely insane. Crazy.

I would've had my doubts a week ago. This is totally unexpected.

I'll be buying Four copies to give to my friends and do my part to spread word on people to get this gem! This game needs the sales it deserves because it's an incredible game. I really would like Three to come over here and also for them to continue the series if this does good enough.

I didn't get a chance to finish this on PS3 for various reasons, but I enjoyed what I did play of it. Day 1 for sure! Loving these JRPGs coming to steam and hope they keep coming.

I agree with some posters here, this news is kinda surprising to me. I expected them to bring a lone game, like Vanquish, with no sequels. But VC was a surprise to me.

Maybe this time I'll have the patience to get past Batomys.

I was thinking the same.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling that this is going to need some kind of fix too. :lol

But SEGA's been consistently good with their ports as far as I remember, so I hope for the best.

don't worry, you won't have to advertise once you need to dedicate time to unlock its 720p and 30 fps settings

Really? What other PC ports do they have under their belt?

all the sonic games were solid ports. binary domain is pretty good. The dreamcast collection got updated recently, the genesis collection is decent. That along with their pc ports in the 90s and their PC developers makes me hopeful

It's clear Sega's seeing some money in this and is slowly drip feeding us their previously exclusive console games,
keep the games on coming.

They felt more comfortable with a strategy title, makes sense given their success with the genre on the platform. Albeit not the exact same genre.

Damn, if this were just a month ago when you could still buy games from the Russian market through keys and cross-trading, I'd easily get a 4-pack. Not that I mind doing that anyway, it'll just take saving up on my budget,
