So is the Vita/TV 3.55 patch up yet?

I mean, 5pb. just started localizing games in the west on their own and they started with a vita game so there's a chance. There's a plethora of 5pb. VNs on the vita I want to play.


We don't get that many VNs over here so I can't exactly be overly picky, I'll probably buy it unless it turns out that it's complete garbage

Well, it's actually not really a VN, more of a strategy game with a board game battle system. The "VN" parts are just short (as little as 10 minutes) and infrequent cutscenes. Supposedly only making up about 10% of the game, other 90% being battles. This is a gameplay game and not a story one from what I've heard.
 
So to fill my 100$ quota, which PS4 games should I buy?

1. Infamous Second Son + Peggle 2

or

2: Last Of Us Remastered.


I have the Last of Us on PS3 but I do not have Left Behind. I have not played this game yet.

I am sure this is a stupid question but I'm gonna ask anyway..

I just ordered a 2tb hard drive for my PS4 today and it will be here on the 30th. I went to the Sony website and downloaded the PS4UPDATE.PUP file so that I am ready when I replace the hard drive.

Will I have to download a new PUP file after this update or can I use the existing file and let the PS4 update organically?

Just kind of popping in to make sure everything is good. Just redeemed a 3-Month card for PS Plus. After confirming the code and then going through some more dialog boxes, it just kicked me back to the dashboard. I was renewing before it expired, mind you. I definitely have three more months, so no harm no foul.

Kind of odd that it would just kick me from the store after confirming everything. First time I've redeemed a PS Plus card on the PS4, always had done it on the PS3. Normally it would thank me or welcome me for joining PS Plus.

I'm hoping Octodad is coming for November. I really want to play it but held off because I figured it'd be free in the coming months.

Nice! Congrats man. My first platinum was many years ago, but still remember it like it was yesterday.. I'm pretty pumped for Freedom Wars as well, but will have to hold off until I get enough funds..
 
Is anyone else having this problem? Suddenly the only games that show up in my download list through a console, vita, web store and through the SEN account website are the free PS+ games I've collected. None of my other purchases do.

If I go to the store itself on the website or on a console, my purchased games do show up as purchased and my licenses work. I can download previous purchases and I can launch installed games.

It's an unsettling and worrying bug.

Make sure it's the big file you need. Also, the PS4 should theoretically update on its own after that. I would redownload it for 2.0 to be guaranteed though.
 
Would stacking a slim PS3 on top of a PS4 cause any issues? Don't have a lot of room so I'd need to stack them if I were to get a PS4

I don't have any musical education, how the fuck am I supposed to know how to play Ave Maria?
My hearing sucks and without any tips, this is the worst riddle design ever.

To be fair, both games aren't really good anyway.
 
So meanwhile in today's Vita random crash :
I was playing Wipeout HD DLC on my Vita, thinking how good this game is and listening to the awesome soundtrack of Wipeout 2048 when "a random crash appears" , yeah just at the end of the track. I was sure the only thing i lose was that last race. But reality has something else to say, and that is: When i close the game and then open it again , Wipeout 2048 was only that, no DLC options...What? yep. I restarted the Vita , even pull out the retail version of the game then i put it in. But nothing. Wipeout 2048 didnt recognize any DLCs nor Online Pass. GREAT. so i deleted the game and im redownloading the dlcs. What im gonna do is install everything then i will do a back up of the game on my PC. Once i have played all of those tracks(weeks of progression actually) and reach the "crash track" im gonna do a backup again of the game just in case the random crash is not so random.

Anyone experienced this problem with wipeout?
There is any way to play the Wipeout 2048 tracks on PS3 Wipeout HD and Fury?Can i download an addon for this?
 
Just updated my Vita to the new 3.55 firmware, but I cannot find the "Live from PlayStation" app that allow us to watch streams from PS4 gamers. Is it seperate download not up yet on the store or just not available in my country?
 
The update seems to have shifted the date over on the Four Seasons theme, so the text isn't overlapping the background anymore.

Also, having trouble connecting to the friends list, and it opens super slow. The store took a while to connect too.
 
Yesterday SAO started to act weirdly(the Vita 3.55 patch is still not available i EU so it can't be it), first it doesn't show many events in the event lists, then sometimes when i'm near the exit of a map the running animation of Kirito or the partner is wrong and when i'm followed by those little insects i run really fast, nothing serious, but SAO worked perfectly until now and i would be pissed if i lose some events.
It started somewhere between level 93 and level 96, i hope that today it will work correctly.

While we are at it, where should i search for rare crabs in gingrovia cove(or whatever it's called)? and where can i find the mysterious portal in the great void?

Oh btw, Non-PSN store related:
My NA (R1) account was compromised today. I can no longer access it. You can remove me from your friends list for now while I contact Sony for this problem. Kindly ignore weird messages / all messages from this account from the mean time.
 
I'm having the same issues Yasumi reported. The store and friends list start up but clearly don't connect to the net for a few seconds. It's noticeably slower.

That glitch was a super rare thing. It was a Sony server side mistake that happened after a global maintenance. Firmware updates affect the hardware software, not server.

btw, sony people read this forum
constantly bringing it up will ensure that glitch never happens again
