Someone asked about gender and race playing a role in finding directors for BLACK

Silas Lesnick:
He says, no, it's going to be the best person for the job no matter what

Thank you Marvel

My body is still recovering.

Those Spider-Man comments to me feel like the rumors about them trying to acquire the use of the character are absolutely true, but are far from finalized.

That's what I'm getting. If there was no chance he'd just kill it now and save them from endless questions about it in the future, but this pretty much shows that they're still trying to do this.

Silas Lesnick: Feige says we may find out more about INHUMANS very soon

Silas Lesnick: Easter eggs will set them up in future films. He hints that it'll be AGE OF ULTRON, but doesn't confirm

Kinda surprised at the lack of iron man 4

I am too, but I think they're worried about brand fatigue and the fact that IM2 and 3 had a lot of backlash. I think their general plan is for any successful franchise to be a trilogy. They have too many brands to try to milk the same old ones over and over again.

Man, how hard it must have been for Marvel knowing these things were coming and having to face those diversity criticisms without being able to talk about this?

Translation. Cheapest person that will do my bidding.

That's not a bad thing though.

Lack of Ant-Man in phase 3 is worrying, wonder if they'll just do a standalone and leave it at that because he'll either have to be in Infinity War or a sequel will be 5+ years away.

Ant-Man was considered to be the start of Phase 3, no? Lack of that film being mentioned at all is kinda worrying.

Ant-Man is a parallel story to Age of Ultron, which is Phase 2, so it makes sense to consider Ant-Man Phase 2. It's pretty much a side-story to the big finale of Phase 2.

Thank you ALMIGHTY GOD

It would have be. I don't see how anyone thought it could be comparable. It's not even just about them not having Spider-man, the Fantastic Four, or the X-men. They have not introduced the necessary characters (outside of those) and more importantly the quantity of characters to actually replicate what that comic story was.

My guess is Sony is going to run through their Spider-Man plans with Sinister Six and ASM3, and sometime after that there'll be a soft reboot for the MCU

I don't think they are worried about brand fatigue at all. They just know that they need to keep on throwing out new stuff along with the established characters. And you don't just let a comic book movie that made 1.2Billion in his last movie to sit idle.
