No. He's still playing. He'll compete in MKX. He's just done with the general MK community. It's fallout from TYM drama. Been insufferable lately so he's peacing out.

Sim's yoga tower; changed my attitude and play style of him realizing so many of his moves where not about attacking but avoiding and countering.
I also love Striders oroboros in all the MvC games. That or his bomb.

TYM is terrible now. It's run by mods who act like school hall monitors on a power trip. It's all about THE RULES!!! Pig called some guys he's feuding with losers and they went ape shit. I got in trouble for calling my Jewish friend who plays Superman "The Jew of Steel". These guys would have a stroke if Viscant vs. LTG happened there.

Really hard to call. I like a lot of the Rival Schools casts' moves, like Hinata's Nike Kick, Kyosuke's Lightning Upper, Edge's Team Attack, all of Kyoko's moves including her alt team attack . . .
I love install supers in general . . . Platinum dagawd
Crazy Legs' super from FFNY, Rocksteady I think it was called, that and the other bboy super were always on every custom no matter what

If we're not talking strictly fighting games, then my absolute favorite might be the Oracle skill Foxbird from FFT. There was nothing I enjoyed more than Calculating from the other side of a map and turning the entire party of enemies into Chickens.
I love Platinum's JP voice clips, but Ayane's taunts probably win out.

only one food place was open after midnight, the male bathrooms ran out of toilet paper/out of service during finals day. it goes on.

It's warranted, the hotel was awful and basically anything other than the venue itself was garbage. And those bathrooms... yikes.
I'm not sure how they're going to fit 10,000 people at Bally's, though. The second room at Evo 2013 was really underutilized, though.
Yea mods do go a lil crazy sometimes with deleting posts and closing threads especially for those that are meant to be for fun, but man sometimes its needed. Personally I don't see nothing wrong with callout threads when its all in the spirit of competition. However it gets tiring when good discussion threads get closed because some people who have no interest in it derail it. Hopefully with mkx tym will go back to focusing on hype, tech, and competition with less focus on trolling for likes.

If it's like last time, rooms at Ballys will be cheaper than Paris rooms even with the EVO discount. They're also closer to the ballroom.
Yet that BYOC corner, especially the anime side was crowded as hell :/

Marth's Dancing Blade 3rd swing down (it just looks like a move that establishes dominance and that shit's rarer to land as an edgeguard than a off stage Falcon Punch).
Which is another reason why I'm sad at what Smash 4 did to Marth. He can't spike with that anymore.
