I think the argument for porting VF to PC is that it's a literally undefined genre on PC -- the last PC release of a 3D fighting game was what, VF Remix? It's by definition undeserved -- the only question is by how much. There are also cool side benefits, like mods, better resolution/framerate support (although VF has always run at a stone cold locked 60fps), preservation, etc..

Honestly, the biggest reason no one plays VF5:FS is that no one plays VF5:FS. It's like most other fighting games in the US that aren't USF4, especially if you don't happen to live in a hotspot for that game. Hell, I stopped playing because everyone else around here stopped playing. :\
 
There was a big picture of the Arkansas govenor race where Mike Ross (D) just lost.

Soul Calibur. You got three attack buttons ( A B K) and a block button (G).

Outside of the street fighter-style supers in V, there isn't anything more complicated than holding a direction and pressing two or more buttons together.

And even then you can just macro the combined inputs to one of the bumpers or triggers like many do. A+B on left bumper and B+K on right bumper for example.

Other than that, you got Nidhogg and Samurai Gunn. Both available on Steam. Don't think Samurai Gunn has online multi though.

Edit: Oh yeah, Divekick too
 
Doesn't Soul Calibur still have strings to make the cool stuff happen?

They should make that game free on ps+ so I don't have to find it somewhere
 
If Samurai Gun and Nidhogg are valid suggestions then I have to recommend EXVS.

It's very simple and accessible 3 button game, one button is ranged attacks, one button for melee, one button for movement modifiers. Specials are performed with combination of any of the two buttons. Its very simple, combos are done by pressing one button, mainly focus on neutral game, positioning, map control, and cooperative team play.

It's actually 5 buttons, the other two are used for communication/messages and target switching. Commonly neglected by newer players in north america however they are just as important as the other three.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but what's the consensus on those (assuming it's the HRAP V4)? I need a PS4 stick for Xrd, and I guess I might go with that, since TE2s seem more expensive. Not familiar with KURO buttons, though, unless they're the same that are on the V3-SA.
 
That XRD TE stick though... I need that as a backup to the all black Namco stick. Should've gotten a 2nd one before it sold out from last year's Black Friday. :(
 
I don't want Johnny and I don't want Baiken in Xrd until they fix the YRC system

Fuck even the remote thought of those characters in the current engine and screw people that want them in with how the game is right now

I feel like I should know why this is a bad thing but I'd love to hear exactly why from you.
 
I didn't even think of how dumb Baiken would be with YRC

I just think she's no fun to play against period

Either make her something different(I get the feeling half the people that want her just like her aesthetically anyways) or just leave her in AC
 
Baiken I can understand but why Johnny? MS? Because if that's the case, I can just see them adjusting his damage accordingly.

But then he might become too dependent on it, I guess...
