WWE 2K15 First Footage and Gameplay changes

Does this guy ever stop? Seriously, you have a hard on for hating on the game so much. If you dont like it, leave. Some of us actually want to give the new gen a chance. Sure, the games have been crap the past few years, and some of your arguments are extremely valid, and dare I say it, I actually agree with you on a lot of them. But seriously, either you are a man of great passion and believe vehemently in your thoughts, or you really really really hate these devs and have nothing better to do.

If you dont want to spend your money on it dont, but literally trolling the crap out of an internet forum like an incessant kid is rather ignoring, and yah, I wont see your response either.

Losing Heath Slater is the bigger tradgedy. Makes me think he was originally planned to be fired with the rest of 3MB.

Don't be fooled again. They promised the same thing last time a new console generation started. If anything they've gotten worse at making the damn games since then. Plus their DLC policies are absolutely abhorrent. They clearly cut shit and overcharge to put it back in the game. This roster looks absolutely shitty.
 
Nothing that happened after June is in the game except for who the default title holders are. It's better than the late March/early April deadline Yuke's used to have!

Ah, I remember like it was yesterday. In the month of September in 2005 on something you whippesnappers won't remember called the "Game Cube". Why I booted it up and had something you just don't get anymore. Fun. In a WWE game. From Yukes.

We won't see miracles like that again though, sonny boy.

lol, I never played that one.

maybe yukes put extra effort in because they knew nintendo gamers were used to wrestling games of the quality of no mercy, 2000, revenge etc.

then when it was back to sony they were like "well we've only given these guys smackdown! games in the past so they're used to crushing disappointments"
 
I bought 2k15 for PS3 to hold me over until the PS4 version comes out. In my opinion, the PS3 version is great. Yes, they took out things like Create a finisher and Create a Story, however I have been using custom arenas and custom championships in my universe mode and haven't had the game freeze on me once yet. In 2k14, I couldn't play more than a couple weeks with custom arenas in Universe mode before it would hard lock my PS3.

I will gladly take a few less features to have a bug-free (in my experience) game.

But be reasonable when they were making the roster Del Rio was still Upper Mid Card. And Ryder would job on Raw like once every two or three months. I'd take Ryder over DelRio any day but it's pretty clear WWE doesn't want Ryder to succeed and are keeping him gainfully employed so he doesn't split and go to TNA. I'm not saying it makes any sense but this is on WWE not Yukes or 2K.
 
I love how they waste sting's first appearance in a wwe game with this inexcusable mess. We're blaming yukes which is understandable but let's not forget that 2k and wwe are probably calling the shots here. This game needed that rumored delay that yukes wanted. This whole situation sucks ass really.

It's just a little disappointing that I'm seeing a lot of the old animations when we know they mo-capped a ton of new stuff. I think that has a lot to do with not getting the delay they wanted.

There is a clear indication that they are trying to do some things differently this year but the VC side of things just didn't have the time to execute.

Ryder at one point was probably more over than ADR ever was during his WWE run. Granted, both of their best runs ended at the hands of Cena.
 
I'd like to point out that, in comparison to previous years, this is the least amount of footage we've gotten before release. Ever. I remember when IGN would do the Smackdown Countdown, and we'd have footage out the ass. At the very least, we'd have way more than we do now.

Also, Bobo should start taking a goddamn list of people saying he's trolling. Then when the game comes out, just stare at them. He's not trolling, he's being logical.

How can you even troll a wwe game thread by saying the game probably isn't going to be good when yukes is the developer and nothing's been shown. There's like 15 years of precedent here.

Guess il hold one until after the games out I may have stop buying www games around 08/09 but I really would enjoy if they became good/fun again always had a blast with the old ones

I don't think anyone is denying what Bobo is saying has merit. He absolutely makes good points based on the history of Yukes. However, he has by far the most posts in this thread. At some point a person needs to make their point and move on.

I really have no issues with his view on the game. He has every right to be as skeptical as he is based on the complete lack of footage we've seen. It's obvious they've been hiding things.

Bobo sort of reminds of people who chant "Cena Sucks" at WWE events. Yeah, you hate Cena, we get it. But at the end of the day you still paid to be there and you're still chanting Cena's name.

What is hilarious is that Reigns talks about his move set in that interview and how he would never do that second rope splash he does in the game. He knows his limitations.

My attitude towards the Yukes games is pretty much the same towards the WWE product in general. There are a ton of problems but at the end of the day I generally have enough fun to keep going back.

Either that or he's going to be like Karl Rove on Election Night 2012. Either way it should be interesting. I'll take my licks if the game blows. (I think the Gamespot footage looks good as well.)
 
I keep reading that this game is a rehash of the previous years iterations in many ways, but what if I never played those? My last wrasslin' game was No Mercy. Would I have fun with this?
