I actually only played my Vita for many months. Such a great system. Haven't touched Freeom Wars yet. Is it great? Too many damn games out this month.
I only played a few hours while watching Dr. Who (I essentially watch the show backwards, started with the first episode of the 10th, went to the 11th, saw a episode with the 12th, jumped back to the 9th, didn't like the 9th and jumped midway to the 10th. I think, my preferences aside, this is a very meta way to watch the series.)
Erm, anyways. Freedom Wars is fun. The setting is very interesting, and not the polite way of interesting, actually interesting. You have a prison sentence of 1,000,000 years you have to work down and you need to buy permissions for everything. At the very beginning you can't even lie down to sleep or go more than 5 steps in your cell without getting a few decades of prison time as penalty. You progress and earn more rights and stuff while slowly reducing your sentence. There are a lot of customization options too, even at the beginning. As with the permissions you can earn new colour palletes, clothes, weapons, etc.
Only thing that annoys me is very specific to me. I am first and foremost a PC gamer. So I have issues with aiming with sticks. But people who are used to consoles shouldn't have any issues with this. Fighting is very cool, with you having 3 weapons you can quickly switch, the ability to attach yourself to walls and giant enemies and slowly taking them apart as you wish, give commandos to your personal aid and your team of other sinners.
