I think this season has a lot of potential, but still waiting for it to take off (yeah, only 5 eps in, I know). Want to see where they go with Ray Palmer for example. And the crossover episode. And Ra's al Ghul of course.
Anyway, not exactly the best episode, but it had its moments.

The Adorable Origin of Felicity's Pajamas to be more accurate. It felt like a wasted potential for our favorite IT girl. She tells her mom she dresses like a porn star? Felicity wears just as tight dresses that seem ready to burst if she steps over one more suitcase. BUT I love it!

Malcolm was giving some serious Tommy Beta vibes watching Thea and Ollie...like he was expecting them to start going at it #Queencest.

Roy?? Noooo not Abercrombie. He couldn't do it as there was no flip involved. Now if Sara had said, "What the hell are you doing?" Before getting hit, then I'd buy it.

Good episode. Even if it did feel a little filler-ish and the VoTW was a little predictable.

Training montage was fantastic, especially the cut to Felicity.

Chest hair is finally starting to look like his old self. Nice to have him back.

Thea nearly busting into the lair. I like where this is going. As much joy Roy brings to any episode he decides to showcase his Roynastics, I won't miss him should he die/be locked up somewhere for all time and Thea takes his place as the real Red Arrow.

Speaking of, what's the deal with Roy? He's been brainwashed? When would it have happened? The Mirakuru did it? Maybe Slade aka Swag Wilson added something extra? Maybe something Ra's added to the mix?

And that arrow through the RPG was so good. Such an amazing scene. His expression, the look on the bald goon behind the guy holding the RPG. Fantastic.

I might be alone in this, but I am loving how Laurel is progressing. Love it.

I've hated her recent actions, but that doesn't make me hate her character enough to want her dead (unless she pulls a life threatening/changing betrayal like they are setting up for Roy- brainwashing doesn't count though).

The episode was pretty bad. The entire end fight was some shitty Saturday morning cartoon stuff. Roy and the RPG, Oliver and the turrets and no name bad guy is holding Felicity hostage and just stands around and watches his shit going down. What a total waste of time.

He was brilliant last night, prowling around in the pouring rain spilling his characters guts in front of mine - great to watch!
(though Lance was definitely a little disturbed)
Last time I saw him in the flesh was with 90,000 fans at the 1988 FA Cup final when him and the Wimbledon boys hoisted the FA cup high above the heads of disbelieving Liverpool players.
I was sat in the nosebleeds that day, half smashed from pub crawling my way across London to Wembley with my old mate Mike.
But last night up close and personal, within the waft of Vinnie’s aftershave - well that was something else!
The glint of those green green eyes now etched into my brain forever.
And between the takes the tales of half time tunnels and post match drinkies...
What a treat.

There was, and it was RIDICULOUS.

Seriously, every time they're alone together in S1 has a "they're about to bang" vibe, especially early on in the season when Ollie gives her that friendship thingy.

I have to comment on this every time it's brought up because it baffles me how the CW let something so obvious get past them.
