Seriously though, sm4sh would be a good game if they took out the air dodge and made it like 64, or put in some type of shield stun, or put in directional air dodge and limited it like in melee, or anything other than the way it is now. The game is straight up boring when it takes to the air.

I tend to stay grounded or short hop with the dodge lag cancel with zard. So I'm enjoying it :P

The air dodge isn't really that big of a deal it's not something that makes people impossible to hit if anything it's really easy to read and punish.

Outside of a couple situations though (mostly down throws into up airs), everything is a read after the first hit. It's like KI if you could combo breaker everything with one button. I mean, sure you could read their air dodge, but there isn't big enough consequences for making that first mistake.

Possibly one of the highlights of 2014's FGW threads right here.

Also, I can't wait for Smash U. Playing without 3DS training weights (or playing in general given how my system's circle pad drift is too real now) is going to make everything a new experience.

Also Greninja's the truth.
 
I'm just hyped to play 8-player mode in Smash WiiU. That's pretty much it.


But I have to say, that could be a potentially revitalizing experience for me. not since I held Halo LAN parties 13 years ago have I experienced anything like that. Never in regards to a fighting game. If it's playable, that might worth the game's existence alone.

8 player Smash is legitimately one of those things I've wanted to see happen forever in the series. Its a shame it's not online enabled but I already live in a big family of gaming dorks so it works out in the end.

Squad matches at tourneys could be the most insane thing ever.

Seriously speaking, picking up Greninja and just moving him around is the closest I've ever gotten within the franchise to the feeling of unlocking and playing Marth for the first time. It's the perfect combination of movement and buttons with the added bonus of the character also having projectiles and the silliest special move ever in Hydro Pump. It's the new Marth dair spike in my mind; a move I have to use to generate the most over the top and disrespectful KOs I possibly can. :lol
 
That may be true, but can you fight me in halo 1 with pistols only?

Reason why I quit playing Halo was because of the host advantage.

I 4 shot a dude and he's still standing there like

They're going down the list of included music in the game (extraneous dressing I know) in the Smash thread and holy shit I am so excited at some of the music selections.

CE? No. Unless you want to play Reach with some tweaks on remake maps. With bloom and Armor Abilities!

I think MCC does H1 multiplayer? Dunno, i don't know what in that is original and what's "rebuilt using H4 engine"
