Is anyone here importing Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax? I'm about to pre-order from Nippon Yassan and was wondering if anyone found a better deal.
Already set up for it digitally. I had a friend in Japan get points for me.

I think my total comes out to $77 with the Fed Ex shipping I believe.Play Asia has terrible shipping options (either unreliable untracked free shipping, or overpriced private courier, with no inbetween), I no longer order from there. And their prices aren't good most of the time anyway.

I'm perfectly okay with TF2 style games, but I thought I'd pose a question to FGW, do you ever see lineups of selectable characters for other multiplayer genres like MOBAs or such and immediately imagine a fighting game of it and get a little sad that it's not the case?
Someone brought up the idea of Anarchy Reigns 2, and that was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this group shot.
this seems familiar

So follow up on that UNiEL vid, if you're into the game you should probably watch it. Has the #1: Gord, Wald, Eltnum(#1 player period), Carmine in it (off the top of my head). You can see a lot of wild stuff in it. Gord being further optimized is ridiculous, that character might be in his own tier at this rate. The tier discussion in Japan was pretty interesting lately, things like Wald not quite being S tier while Vatista is considered S tier in some cases. Anyways, the game still developed further after console release so that's a fun thing.
Anyways here's the link again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_7XAoylOvE
I haven't, is nippon-yasan a reliable site to import from?

JC flat out plagiarizing
Whats this about
Yes. Sometimes they may ship a day or two late. and their slow shipping is really really slow. prices are great.
But eventually you just gotta set up Tenso and move to amazon.jp for games stuff. The cost of Amazon + Tenso is usually better than everything else, though you do lose the day or two for it to get from amazon to tenso before it ships to you.
I wish Blizzard would make a fighter.![]()
Depends. Do not import figures from them. FigureGAF already had that site selling bootlegs on some of their shipments.I haven't, is nippon-yasan a reliable site to import from?

I'm glad I edited that "usually", heh.
I've had great experiences ordering from N-Y. There are occasional stories of orders getting messed up or not shipping (see the New 3DS thread) but never mine.

I've heard reports of things not being backed well and getting damaged, but anything like a normal game should be fine.
I'll play training dummy for a bit. What console? I have the PC version, but my laptop won't even boot it so yeah.Anyone want to spar with me in Skullgirls?

You mean just wanting other IPs to get a fighting game?I'm perfectly okay with TF2 style games, but I thought I'd pose a question to FGW, do you ever see lineups of selectable characters for other multiplayer genres like MOBAs or such and immediately imagine a fighting game of it and get a little sad that it's not the case?

Based on every criteria, who would you consider the single best fighting game player in history thus far? There can be many debates and arguments here.
I personally think it's far too early to suggest so but Justin Wong is obviously up there. The thing is a lot of people who could be on the list is still going strong and some of these players have actually fallen back a little. Daigo for example only seems to be playing SFIV and nothing else. I think the safest answer is Tokido but I don't remember him winning the big one like a few others has despite being the best player with the most high level play in many games.

Well the name fits right? She slayed Mike and he's a star.

BakedYams
I think Noah, the 8 year old Tekken player, Sako's kid, the blind MK player, Evilore, the trash lady from Super Arcade, and Mago's cat would all beat Yams in a fighting game kumite.
What does that image with the two guys mean?
Ryan HartIt has to be a Japanese player hands down, no one in America can even touch them in terms of being one of the best players of all time except for Justin even though he's not as old as a few of them, or is he?
