Best fighting game player is insanely subjective, and to base it on "every criteria" is impossible without knowing what the criteria could be.
That being said, I would say Wong is probably the best all-around fighting game player. He has played the largest quantity of fighting games up to a high level at this point. Is he absolutely the best at each one? Does he have the best execution? Flashiest play style? No, but I don't think anyone has him beat if we were to go across the board.

Does Project M remind anyone of Fortress Forever? If no one remembers what FF was, it was an unofficial Team Fortress sequel that was in development for a while (HL2 mod)... Then TF2 got announced and people basically forgot it existed. Probably same thing will happen to Project M despite how well balanced or good it may be..

I'm very familiar with Tokido and his records. I don't know that he surpasses Wong in the amount of fighting games he's played at a high level...
They would probably make the best grudge match across a wide series of games.

Well your post implied that only evo wins mattered. Even then still no. If Fuudo was the most winningest VF player ever and then did as well as he did in sf4 then maybe.

I guess it's to be expected if Nintendo is going to have a presence but damn. That's my Smash game of choice alongside Smash 4. Ah well, at least Melee will be there to hold it down.
