In Japan Wald kinda slipped a bit, meanwhile Vatista developed further. On top of her neutral, she can basically shut you down and force you to stop playing the game pretty heavily once she gets going. Hilda is somewhere in mid, she can force the Hilda game on you but her risk/reward is pretty unremarkable and she dies if she fails to get going. There can be arguments for Wald being S still, but the other S tiers seem to outclass him so yeah. It's prolly something like S: Gord, Merk, Vat > A: Wald, Elt, Carmine(?) > stuff. Rough guess, so meh.
I believe if the game keeps moving the way it's moving Gord might just be flat out in his own tier at some point(yes he actually is that ridiculous), and then the S and A tier might merge together a bit. That's like, theory monstering though, so take it as you will.
