FWIW, I would think that they also don't want the reputation of losing to a kid. They were clearly trying.
Maybe they were just nice to a little girl and don't want to make her cry? I often (not always) let kids win, becausw they turn into monsters, when they lose.
It's further down, 10 hours ago, from Southpaw and Sky.all I see is tweets about the Oregon game
Mariota for Heisman
Yeah...watch the footage before you make guesses like this.
We finally found the slayer.![]()
Noah was bodying people in Marvel with Hulk at 8 years old. The young'ns grow up fast.I think this was likely either staged or the players were letting her win. Not that I'm saying she's not a good player, or anything bad was going on, but this seems a bit too incredible to be true.

Apparently she learned that Diddy Kong just by watching other people play. That's some Mozart shit. How did she even train for this?
West coast worst coast.
Kids tend to do better in party games...

Born free from corruption, a new generation arises. She's like 2 when Brawl came out.
You can't stage the stuff she's pulling off in the video.

Not even. West Coast is clearly best coast when it comes to Smash, especially since now we have M2K on our side.
Holy shit what.
It's weird that this notion that kids can't excel at video games exists.I think this was likely either staged or the players were letting her win. Not that I'm saying she's not a good player, or anything bad was going on, but this seems a bit too incredible to be true.
Mew2Queen? Calvary? Apple? ContentCircle?
I've played with and against 6 year olds on the pro level on pc, and that was back in '04. I'm sure this is exactly what Sakurai was going for with making smash more accessible.I think this was likely either staged or the players were letting her win. I wonder why kids being really good at video games is "surprising".
I was way better at Smash then (compartively, since it was smash 64) than I am now.
Same thing for Tetris Attack. getting 9x like it was nothing.
Kids git good.

They all sound and act 10 years old in that video...
Oh, Brawl players.
Explains a lot.
omg why are you back to wearing that avatar with that big blotch of white. ;_; have somebody fix it for you please.Time for the OG smash competitors to past the torch.
LOLWe merely adopted Smash. She was born in it, molded by it.
Thirstybox?

I don't understand this at all. Reaction times peak at age 24, not age 12, and people do typically learn how to play better as they play more and more.I wonder why kids being really good at video games is "surprising".

EDIT:
Wait, she learned Diddy by watching or something?
That's pretty insane.
It wasn't even just proper combos. She wall teched, understood item toss/dropping, had good/great DI, amazing patience and reads and knew how to stay out of bad situations. It's just so wild knowing she's 10 doing even two of these things simultaneously. Having the whole kit is just whoa.
