Apparently that typhoon in Asia slammed into the jet stream and the coming weeks are going to be freezing even in southern states.

As a Canadian I've got my Long Johns, tuque, scarf, gloves and winter jacket ready to go.

Not exactly ideal temperature, however, I love winter! I always look forward to this time of year when the air is nice and crisp.

I'm part frost giant so I don't mind. However my school is a fair bit north of where I normally live so the early february winter might be harsher than I'm used to.

8-12in of snow predicted for Central Minnesota, followed by a deep freeze! bring it on!

Just need to make sure to get the walk shoveled before the deep freeze sets in.
