But yeah Winter Soldier is the Crown Jewel.

When she debuted there was an attempt to make her look like Natasha Romanof of the comics then they just said "eh fuck it its just scarlet Johansson"

I think very very very very mcu films are even decent. ESPECIALLY post disney purchase. After phase 1 its basically all dogshit.

BUT this is a small exception. It manages to kiiind of feel like a real movie despite its tv show level, made in previs feeling cinematography, and gets major props for legitimately great action choreography and practical stunts. As well as a genuinely good message about doing the right thing, surveillance state, and standing up to the system

Best MCU movie? Yeah either it, Iron Man 1, or Captain America 1. As a superhero movie though its well below the likes of Superman 78, Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, Man of Steel, and basically any Batman movie sans Batman and Robin

Agreed. I would put it at the second place behind Endgame but definitely one of the best. I am always happy to rewatch it.
