Preordered it. The Vita backlog is never ending
What pushed me to get it now is its Gamestop exclusivity, though I'm not sure how limited it actually is.
Well, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be another Xeno situation with all the jacked up prices online. My copy is pre-ordered, so I'm all set at least, lol.
Good deal, When is he/she posting it up?

Yeah, that is what I just did. No shipping fee (if you have prime) or tax, unlike going though gamestop's site. Actually put an order in though gamestop first before someone mentioned it was on Bandai/Namco's site as well, but canceled that as soon as I saw that you could go though amazon though their store.
Edit: I wish Namco's store went though amazon back when Ni No Kuni was coming out as then my order for the box would have actually went through...
The OT should be up on release date, pretty sure the new rule is, OTs must be up on the release date, not before.
As for some of the issues. It's a part Sony project (due to #JRPGVita) so I suspect they may have had something to do with some of the issues.

My 64 GB card is almost full already. Had to preorder from GS for physical. Regardless, I am excited. Also my local GS is having this game on sale tonight for their "est" midnight release (9pm pst) with the other games coming out tomorrow.

Yeah, this is NOT the OT, just for reviews more than anything. Although the AC OT is already up, next would be the MCC OT. The game is getting a 0 on the hype meter, so maybe the reviews can remind everyone that this our #JRPGVITA winner.
If this game doesn't sell, they might not bother localizing anything in the future, lol.

I am indeed doing it. I'm in class right now so I can't fix the formatting, but I'll be putting it up tomorrow. I was pretty sure the rule was supposed to be OT on release date. If I'm wrong, someone correct me and I'll put the OT up earlier.

Just changed my shipping address from my work to my home because I won't be here tomorrow and my delivery estimate just changed till the 18th? From Namco/Amazon store.
I wonder if there was some sort of delay.
I'm tempted to contact someone with this, however; since this one is a two party purchase I'm not sure who to even contact. Has anyone actually had theirs ship yet? I mean I can wait, but it seems foolish if everyone else gets their copies no problem.

Let's try to remember that America =/= world, it's a regular retail release in Europe.

I was very confused when I read this. My mind just glosses over most of the ports, with this one given an exception since we never got the DS game localized.Gamesided said:

Things I'm seeing wrong with this localization:
- No dub.
- Name changes in combination with no dub, though the script itself is apparently fine.
- Song replaced with generic nonvocal bgm.
How upsetting, they had such a good track record with these for a while.

I just realized that grabbing this from Gamestop means it'll be the first physical game I put in my Vita. I'm not even sure where it goes.

If they didn't, it's probably some expensive licensing issues. This game probably doesn't have much of a budget plus the game wasn't even going to come out over here originally so I'm not surprised if there is some expensive deals preventing the song being used in the west.
It's a shame but the games coming out so I'm still happy. Looking forward to this game
This whole thing is kind of reminding me of Symphonia in a few ways. Symphonic opening track, character name changes (Genius and Refill), and the game's localization being pushed by the console maker, with Namco sort of testing the waters for the genre's viability on the system.

I ordered from the Bandai Namco store and received an e-mail last weekend saying there was a delay with my order, with no further explanation, nor any estimation how long the delay may be.

Yeah, I just got off the phone with a Rep from the company and she said there had been a stocking issue and the delay is a week till the 18th.
I'm thinking I'm going to go call up Gamestop perhaps and see what they say. Not that I want to support them, but I don't see a reason to wait a week even if I'm not chopping at the bit to play this one per say.

Symphonia had the excuse of being an existing localization bolted onto a new version of the game. I was sort of ok with that given the circumstances. This is a new game so it's garbage.
Uhh... I think he means the original GC version, not the HD one.

haha I'm probably gonna pick it up anyway just to support more JRPG coming to Vita. I always need more Tales of games, but I heard alot of mixed things about this game beforehand

My copy shipped from gamestop this morning. Been a hot minute since I played a tales game.
Fifty dollars!? That's $5 more than Gamestop (GS Canada is $45) and $10 more than PSN. PSN doesn't charge tax either. I think I'll probably end up going digital but if I did go physical I would probably just do Gamestop over VGP to save some money and over the Namco store as well because Digital River.
Namco doesn't use digital river , they use amazon now
The Bandai store is fulfilled by amazon now

God I wish they dubbed this, but whatever. I just preordered since I completely forgot all about this since I hate buying from Gamestop online cause I hate paying for shipping and there's no way in hell a lot of these will be in stores unless you pre ordered.

You should call your local store and see if their being shipped any unclaimed copies and pre-order today. You will still get all the pre-order bonuses and be gaurenteed a copy since they will pull your pre-order from the copies they receive.
Well one, I never asked for this game.
Two, I had no idea this game was coming out this soon. I thought it was early next year or something. Jesus Christ Bamco advertise the date of the game at least lol.
Lastly, with the amount of better games coming out in November, my wallet is tied. Maybe sometime next year but not now. Especially a game neither I nor did many people REALLY want from that #JRPGVita thing. And if this is THAT test, well...sorry.
