Well, it's been half a year since ChrisG visited Peru and I promised to make a writeup with pics/videos about it... we tried to get this video out sooner but some stupid .MTS sound file errors(that are pretty well documented as we found out later) made it look like all the sound was gone(and it was), we had to go through hell to try to fix all the files and we still lost like 50% of what we recorded because of it. Same issue made us stop recording and well, then real life stuff also happened and it made it worse.
Without further ado, here's our 3rd episode of "Pimping your Stick" with ChrisG in Lima, now with english and spanish subtitles! (you have to turn them on tho)

Eh not really, the coach is a high school freshman and the all the players are 8th graders if I'm not mistaken, so they're like a year apart age wise. Now if it was actually a middle aged coach then we wouldn't be having this conversation. I watched it when I was going to high school for a couple of episodes and stopped after I realized the crowd it was catering too... I'm a sucker for romantic plots.

CC is a super small tourney overall. So it's not surprising. Plus marvel numbers have been dwindling overall, especially in the PNW and Western Canada.

Overwatch is why I really wish Blizzard would make a FG. Granted, it's a product of a game that was in development hell for a long time, but the strength of their character design really shines through.

Yeah from what I've watched the movement looks to be more to my taste than GG, same for the neutral as a whole. Then again people say it's like KOF a lot and I'm madly in love with KOF13 so...
The OST is fucking godlike. Not sure if it fits the tone of the game, but soaring guitars and videogame synth = eargasm.
The character designs(visually, not talking gameplay here) are solid bleh for me though. The best the game manages is "okay". I guess I'll get over it if the game ends up feeling good. One more Gordeau to ruin it for you all!
Don't you dare trash Rorouni Kenshin and Yuyu Hakusho! Also, I'm more knowledgeable on anime from the year 2000 and after. The fanservice was palatable but now its just too much for me.

If Xrd comes out and I put in a decent amount of practice and I don't like the game, I'll check out UNIEL again.

They need to put BB on PS4 first imo, but yeah they really should try and get the next version of the game on PS4 and since Arc Sys did the console coding and netcode shit maybe they could work in the cross play from Xrd
Hell even in the 80s Leiji Matsumoto was already talking about the dangers of catering to the maniacs, even though the industry needed them.

Anyway, people complaining that they like anime but that all modern anime has too much fanservice are just blowing wind. Complaining for the sake of complaining rather than finding the good stuff easily available that has little to none of that stuff. Especially anyone who would say they liked YuYu Hakusho given that Hunter x Hunter is available and is godlike.
A Blizzard fighting game could be amazing but will never happen because blizzard likes making money with their projects.
There's about no chance the next version of UNIEL comes out before 2016, they basically just started pre-production on it and they're too busy cranking out waifus for DBFC. And if Type-Moon actually gets on schedule with the Tsukihime remake

I think they could make it make money as well -- I really think modern FG developers are leaving a ton of money on the table for one reason or another.

Oh no, let me clarify. That fanservice (although I don't remember the shows since I watched it when I was but a lad, 6-7 years old) is different from the niche fanservice they have nowadays or maybe I just don't remember as well.

I see you Beckx, I'll watch Hunter X Hunter soon. I've done some research and to no one's surprise, anime has had a strong level of fanservice since the 80's. Golden Boy and Maison Ikkoku are still godlike in my book. I've finally accepted anime!
