The Bible makes it quite clear that homosexuality is intrinsically evil. So when anyone tells me this is some form of perversion of the religion I immediately stop taking them seriously.

In the old testament in the same book as a bunch of other things that are supposed to be death-worthy that absolutely everyone ignores. In Saddam and Gomorrah, it is hinted that the reason god hated everyone was because they were not only gay, but they also were mass rapers,murders,torturers, etc.

The new covenant by jesus never mentions homosexuality at all.
Im agnostic, just incase anyone cares.

1) The New Testament only makes mention of gay sex as a sin, and not even a mortal one. It also makes a point that every person is a sinner and can be forgiven. So, no, the Bible doesn't make it clear that homosexuality is intrinsically evil. Also, you ever eat seafood? Congratulations, you've sinned just as hard as a dude who has had a dick in his butt.

2) Religion itself is the perversion of human intellect and tolerance, as you have just demonstrated perfectly.

Unless this is somehow some bizarre sarcasm that didn't work, which I'm hoping for your sake it is.

It doesn't make it quite clear at all.

Sure, some parts of the Old Testament can be interpreted that way if using outdated translations! And then there's a couple of dubious passages written by Paul in the NT. Most mentions in the NT aren't even mentions (usually Sodomite is mistranslated as homosexual where the sins of Sodom have nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality).

If you're Jewish, I'd suggest being anti-gay and anti-shellfish etc is relatively reasonable. But if you're Christian, being anti-gay is not reasonable.

Never made sense to me, ever. How far does this go? Can a murderer be forgiven? Mass murderer? Hitler? At what point can someone do something unforgivable, if at all?

Well, shellfish and shrimp mostly.

The Bible mentions that "anything that lives in the sea is detestable to you" and you shouldn't eat it, in variously harsh tones, more than twice as much as it even mentions homosexuality. Also, no eating Camels.

Depends on the intepretation.

Catholics believe mortal sins can be forgiven if the contrition is pure. So yeah, you can be a genocidal, child molesting dictator and still be forgiven in the end as long as you mean it.

The only sin that can't be forgiven? Suicide. You go to hell. So at least Hitler's not in heaven (according to Catholics), but then you have the nasty logical problem of Hitler and Robin Williams both being in hell for the same reason.
