I usually can get copies a couple of days before official release dates at local supermarket, but if there is a day one patch which wont go live till day one, no point trying to get early.

Mass Effect 3 is a great game hampered by a shitty ending.

There are a lot of problems with ME3 before you get to the ending. Note, I have not seen the ending and dislike ME3, so I'm not being tainted by it.

I liked Loghain too.

I liked the characters and the choices you get. It's very ME2-like. I think the romance stuff also has a new personal quest now.

I did notice the world tends to focus more on gameplay than choices sometimes.. Doesn't mean there's no choices and conversations at all though. There are plenty of conversations and choices in the game. I think the game is just so big that they couldn't fill it all with conversations, choices etc

Glad to hear the romances have been improved. Not happy about the 2nd part though. Most people will have a different threshold about the conversations vs fights ratio, so I expect opinions will vary wildly for that reason alone.

This is true. It's not just the PS4 freezes -- the game is very janky. For example, sometimes dialogue would just stop progressing and the only way I could move forward was to hit the skip button, potentially missing a lot of lines.

This is good info and quite normal for a Bioware release. Think will stick to the Multiplayer for a few days, to see if more patches are released.

Item management is good. Lots of customisation options. I really dig crafting. In other games, there's a set type of resources you need to make armor. Example: EPIC DRAGON ARMOR needs 10 obsidian and 10 dragon claws. If you don't have those, you can't make it. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, you just need 10 of any resource, doesn't matter what. Every resource will have different stats and the primary resource will define the color. I really like that.

Friendly fire didn't really bother me, by the way.

Are you seriously saying that there's is only 7% of ME3 that needs to be changed to be perfect? If we go with the widely held belief that ME1/2 are better where do they fall on this 94% >100% scale?

Poster indicated the MC rating matched their personal enjoyment, so yeah they'd probably say there's only ~7% of ME3 they'd change. People are also going to have different views on what content contributes towards perfection and what doesn't.

Spending years on an internet message board deconstructing a game is going to bring up a host of issues that might never have occurred to someone. So, do those issues actually matter to said person? Do they have to account for what everyone else finds lacking in order to determine their opinion of a game? Of course not.
