During the Kuvira fight, I kept thinking why the hell Korra didn't just bend the metal Kuvira has all over her body. IT WORKS BOTH WAYS!
I bet there are metal benders that accidentally kill themselves. They wearing metal outfits and then choke themselves out, or crush their bodies. Oops.

There's probably an honor code about that. I mean Kuvira bent the shoulder pads that Varrick was wearing, but he's not a bender. Probably just can't do it because her bending ability prevents it. Like how tarrlock couldn't blood bend amon, or at least for a long period of time.

Man, I know it's decades and decades after TLA,but the level of benders in Korra is just another level. The best of Korra seem like they'd destroy the best of TLA. In fact, only the Fire Lord really compares. And Avatar mode Aang of course

I don't know. Considering that Toph is probably the strongest earthbender atm in Korra, and she's part of the AtlA generation. Zuko never got a proper chance at fighting as Zaheer and crew escaped moments later and were basically wasting time. Heck even the White Lotus from back in the days, with the sword guy, Bumi, the fire dude, all were more than decent benders.

I don't know, there really wasn't proper build up to my character development. Pacing was also kind of slow and character traits were repetitive. But the jump in character development was pretty great in the end.
I hope you're mentally prepared for Kuvira's last scene being Bolin putting a sock in her mouth after Korra and Zaheer tag team her.

Yeah plus Toa's backstory and motivations aren't really convincing so that definitely didn't help make his impact on your development seem any more justified. If only you guys had more screen time instead all of the meat happening off screen :\

My god I have that same exact problem. Too many systems not enough ports. You'll kick my ass a lot in smash. You should've seen how unceremoniously I unhooked my 360 after like 2 years of not using it.
I actually just screen grabbed a lot of stuff off my computer while watching the episode. I'll see what I can find that matches well.
Yeah, just send whatever my way. And I'll try to make you a good transparent Avatar. I think up close shots of her head (so upper body to head) always work best, given the 100x120 dimensions for avatars.

I thought about a possible continuation of the Avatar franchise with opening everything to space. While it may not possible to get people even with advanced bending into space and only airbender could MAYBE survive (pressure ant temperature may be too much), the spirit world could look different. Imagine paths in the spirit world that don't exist in the real world. Paths between planets that make it possible to cross between them, even as a human.
Benders from outer space, Spirits from outer space, new bending with elements that weren't part of this world's bending pool. Maybe the lionturtles are just part of an intergalactic race that gave bending to dozens of different planets. Maybe they tried to raise and army against some bigger threat. The possibilities of storylines!
