So... that was the last boss? Like, I get he skipped a bunch of the fight but... You know... It's a Sonic game. Where is the Super Sonic (or team in this case)? Where was the butt rock? The epic fight to save the world in space or through time or something? And they beat the snake by tying it up? lol.

I don't think Lost World had that either though? Wasn't it just a rehash of the colours boss without the cool music?

The ending cut scene starts with Knuckles and his shitty friends having beaten Lyric. Then Lyric uses a gadget to tie them up in a ring, but Eggman appears and shoots Lyric, so Sonic and his friends are now back where it started. Sonic alone, without his shitty friends, ties Lyric up with his blue rope. Shadow appears, but doesn't do anything because they've already won.

When it was doing that earlier I looked at the timer and that was still updating as it should so it's likely the game. Need to keep in mind though he is glitching and going to places that haven't yet loaded/out of level so it would hitch a bit as it tries and load the correct level geometry.

EDIT: The fuck is Tails doing? Is he bouncing on that butt?

The entire game is sub 30 in a lot of places, not just these speedrun areas.
