Gotta give credit where it's due. There are moments in that AJ/Natalya match which are really good. From 1:02 - 1:30 the animation was buttery smooth as they tangled, especially natalya coming out of the headlock. At 4:53, when Natalya goes for a clothesline, AJ's face is unreal. That's the kind of stuff I expected from next-gen. Unfortunately, the rest of the match was the same janky stuff from previous entries.
That match looked horrible. The A.I. was stupid; the table glitched its way out of the ring; when Bryan went through the table it didn't make a noise. As good as the Diva match looked, this one looked as bad.
I saw it as well.

I think the only legitimately new animations that made it in this year are of the wrestlers getting tired. Ryback and Batista should be great this year.

Watched the HHH/Bryan video. It's the same bullshit. Completely. Same awful table physics that sometimes vanish into the mat, sometimes have ropes go THROUGH them, then have to vibrate out, sometimes transport vertically when the wrestler is holding them horizontally, the breaking is completely uniform no matter what angle the wrestler hits it at. Even though just a few years ago, tables would break where you hit them, so if a guy clipped the edge, just that area would break.

If I had a PS4 or XBone that would have just put me off even considering buying the game. Table physics / interaction with ropes is worse than the PS2 games, the breaking tables look awful, and a fucked finish thanks to janky collision detection. This game should still be in beta shouldn't it?

In the Bray Wyatt/Daniel Bryan Last Man Standing match, it looked like DB won with a swinging neckbreaker. Wasn't it back in 10 or 11 that only a finisher or weapon shot would start the count? Kind of disappointing for me. Hopefully Steel Cage matches are better, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was really hoping the commentary was going to be improved, especially after they were talking about King and Cole recording it together and them revamping it but it seems as terrible as ever

I had hope with 2K things would be different. I'm positive they have at least know how fans dispise Yukes by now. We really need a different team/vision for a wrestling game. I would even take a modern TNA game at this point.

2K15 is still using their engine, so I highly doubt it. I could see them getting phased out over time though.

Sticking with 2K14 as well. With the no custom diva or story creator options my interest in this game has reached its lowest point. Not going to get it when it's $9.99 either. Will probably just watch some streams of the career mode when it's out.
Also lol at the over one billion new lines of commentary or whatever it was they were trying to sell us. The commentary is 95% identical to 2K14.
