WWE 2K15 First Footage and Gameplay changes

lol bobo you haven't even played the current gen version, stop trolling, you don't know if it will be good or bad. I dont get your obsession with hating this game.

Have you not seen the gameplay footage? People need to know the game is bad so they don't spend their hard earned money on it. If the game does poorly enough, we might get a new studio besides Yukes to make the game.

They need to use the character models in all screens. I don't like how everything's been replaced with photos and stuff like that.

Even the menus are boring. I've always hated the SF style look too.

He says it's his first NXT fight but his contract started on April 1 and that match takes place in the third week of May.

Regal also starts the video by telling SugarRay he "wasn't ready for an opponent of that caliber, and he'd get an easier one this week."

In the previous video you start in NXT by tapping to a guy and Demott pulls him off you. I assume that is why Regal says that.

Do you even realize how unbearable you make these threads?

If you guys don't want to see me you can make the offical thread for the game. I'll stay out of there. Why not make a positive contribution to this thread though and post impressions of what you are seeing in the game instead of complaining about me?

Maaaaybe because when someone posts anything resembling a positive impression they get attacked by the angry mob and you feel compelled to write poetry about them.

Could be it. I dunno.

All things considered, I think the game is shaping up nicely. Keep in mind that it is a transition year, yet the future looks promising. I'm already getting excited thinking about the possibilities 2K16 may bring.

Kudos to Yukes and 2K Games.

Uh oh, now you've gone and done it.

Shucky ducky, quack quack.

i thought last year was supposed to be the transition year?

The stamina system looks cool. Reminds me a bit of the old All Star Pro Wrestling games by Square.

I've been 99% negative about the game too so...

I like the crawling mechanic and people getting tired and having to take a second before getting up. I'm not sure if the stamina system lets you have second winds and stuff, as those are important!

14 has the Wrestlemania mode that is worth a playthrough and a Beat the Streak mode that's entertaining for a few times. Plus the legends roster is probably the best they've ever had. Plus the newer menus are nicer than the old ones they used to use and loading is improved. The gameplay is still garbage, but it was fun reliving some Wrestlemania moments.

true. 14 was probably the most polished out of the wwe games last gen.

theclosetfan, you are going to love WWE 2k15. Yukes has heard you(they can't see you like John Cena) and made a game that revolutionizes the squared circle on PS4/XB1. The new crawling mechanic and stamina system really bring a new level of realism to sports entertainment rivaled only by putting on a pair of spandex tights and jumping in the ring yourself. Oh it's true. It's damn true. Not only that, but the reversal system has been refined to pinpoint accuracy. You will feel like you are in the battle of your life timing the reversal trigger presses to get out of one, or several in your case, precarious situations against foes like Alberto Del Rio and Alberto Del Rio 2012. NOW CAN YOU DIG THAT SUCKA?!

And here I thought we were making progress and being civil.

Looks like William Regal is the PS4/XBO exclusive character.

That's surprisingly up-to-date. When did he become the NXT general manager? August? I don't even know if it would've been JBL or Triple H before that.

Edit: SvR 2008 was way more polished than 2k14. It's also the one game from the last generation where all of the content isn't obviously re-used from the last game or in the next game.

He's been down doing stuff with NXT since the reboot, so it probably isn't about him as GM.

Good lord, this game needs about 6 more months in the oven or something. This thing is going to be great for youtube glitch videos and general stupidity in the AI, but not much else. So disappointing.

It desperately needs a couple of years off to go away and make a great game, but WWE won't let it happen.

Relax. Come out of the closet Mr. Fan. You don't have to hide being a fan here. We accept you for who you are. I was just pointing out some of the brilliant new features of the PS4/Xbone version. I look forward to hearing your gameplay impressions in the official thread. You never really seem to have commented on the WWE games in the past other than to defend them and say how great they are, without going into much detail on what makes them so great to you. Maybe we can play an online match when I get a PS4 on Black Friday and rent the game?

If we can be fair to Flair and Yukes (and THQ), the Undisputed series took a year off, came back with an improved game on all fronts, yet it didn't even break even, helping an already struggling THQ to shut down and lose the license. Taking a year off could conceivably damage the brand and sales. Which is why they should have had dual teams as soon as 2K took over.

they should have dual teams
and neither of them are Yukes
