Once you specialize are you able to switch to a different specialization for your class or are you stuck with your choice?

Specs are permanent as they play a role in the story. So choose wisely, using the respec potion won't change your specialization just give you back ability points.

In previous Dragon Age games, you got multiple points for specialization across the level spectrum. Specialization was more a case of unlocking a new skill tree than committing to a path. It'll take a number of levels before you can try another, but the system didn't restrict you that much.

So, if they use the same or a similar system, it'd be like that.

Are there any comparisons between versions? I know PS4 is 1080p but does it run at a locked 30? Does it look good? I'm debating between PC or PS4. Since there is no save carryover I can finally buy it on a different platform without feeling left out. I'd much rather have a game with trade in value then one without but not if its an AC:U situation.

Ordered off mexico origin from USA using vpn. Hope this doesn't come back to bite me :(.
Wish it would work for me...

I found some nice deals (around 35€), but that's for the EU version it seems (at least it tells me on the site it will unlock on the 21st). Can I use a VPN to unlock it early, or will I be bound to wait? Is there even a EU / US specific version or is the delay of artificial nature?

Unfortunately, you have to wait till Digital Foundry to be sure.

One X1 owner reported cutscene stutters in the early access thread.

I was already including that haha

Unfortunately, it seems I could do $69.99- $15 including the ebay code at best, minus another $10 if I skip Geometry Wars.

I may have to hold out for a cheaper physical copy, especially with Christmas deals around the corner. I feel like DA would be a nice physical game to own, and I really like the PS4 boxes lol

Are most of you going physical?

Edit: Damn, the ebay thing is U.S only. May need to see if someone on the B/S/T thread can hook me up

I'm basically 100% physical now. It sounds like the DLC focus for now is on multiplayer, which I'm not too interested in, so my gut says "Play it, beat it, trade it, pick it up again for DLC if it turns out that the DLC is worthwhile."

It rejected my payment method few times, Origin that is, and then just accepted it. Nothing changed in my method of trying [reddit link].

Checked G2Play and G2A for deals? You can preload and unlock game as soon as you get key from the store and can VPN it.

Honestly I dont have an XB1 so thats moot but if the PS4 stutters I'm going with PC. I guess my best bet is to preorder for PS4 and make up my mind when DF comes out.

The ps4 code is gone. I haven't sent any codes out yet, I'm off at 1130pm so I'll send them out around midnight PST. I checked for more ps4 codes but we don't have anymore.

Also if you're getting WWE 2k15 on Xbox one or ps4 I'll have codes for a Sting pack dlc to give out too. I'll post in their thread but shoot me a PM for those too if you want. I'll have at least 5 of each of those.

I found a couple of great deals, but I don't know which country those come from. I want to play on monday/tuesday.

With any key retailer, even GMG, you are at mercy of their supplier. EU release being on Friday they may not get keys before Tue-Wed etc.

Bought it for 39€ via g2a. There are cheaper alternatives, but the site seems more trustworthy.
Hoping I get a key as early as possible.

Thats amazing, every review site says DAI is good. I loved Dragon Age: Origins back then and played it to death (12 times over).

Damn..the game is releasing
on the same day as my birthday
and
I am afraid I won't be able to afford it at launch
.

Last night i tried this game, thanks to EA access...

Game is good, but gfx ? No...

.If we could play Skyrim on this gen, it would look absolutely way better than this....

Huh, so I just read a supposed spoiler on the BioWare forums regarding a choice you can make in the Keep and it's crazy consequence on a companion in Inquisition. God damn, if true. I didn't think BioWare was that dark. Wow.

Just making us suffer! I'm guessing
it has to do with Varric
. Don't confirm or deny that, though, I don't want to know!

they sell to america also so keys will go out on monday the latest. there is 0% chance (unless theres a fuck up or a error) that keys would go out after the game was out

I'm doing the Keep right now. Please help me avoid horrible consequences!

I won't confirm or deny but DAMN, if it is indeed true. It sort of makes sense in terms of a logical choice and consequence but DAMN is it harsh and kind of messed up. Which makes me think its not true but I don't know...

Wait so it's a choice we made in origins or DA2 that will have a crazy consequence in DA:I?

edit: and somehow something took over my body and made me go read it on the bioware forums..

I'm playing on an Xbox One and haven't noticed any performance issues of significance. Doesn't mean it isn't smoother on a PS4 or that they aren't there, but I can vouch that on X1 it feels like a totally polished product in my eyes.

Sorry if this has already been answered but does Hawke and Warden actually appear in the game? I suppose what I'm asking is if decision in DA:O and DA2 actually reflect in this game or not?

I'm split between this and Shadow of Mordor and an answer to that question could seriously swing the vote for me.

Yeah i have noticed stuttering..Cutscene animations are not smooth...Also i think AA is not so good on this game...I dont think this is because of 900p..Because other 900p games were not like this...I will order PS4 version and check it also

Draw distance is bad, outdoor environment detail ise weak..GFX is the weakest point of this game..

But gameplay, story telling etc are very good...I will definitely buy

Hawke definitely appears. I don't know what the deal with the Warden is.

The only one which seem true is the video, other spoilers seems more like rumors.

I PM'd you the link, but at this point I'd suggest we stop talking about it because eventually somebody will want to discuss it in one of these threads and that'll cause people to not come back out of fear.

Sorry to be a bother, but are these weapons a good fit with the rest of the armory in the game or does it stand out as too strong/too weak? It is always a little gamble with these DLC weapons...
Not a bother man :) They're not overpowered. They're fairly low level so I'm sure people won't be using them for *too* long. The DLC also comes with a badass armored mount though too:
