Full match of Halo 5 mp

I don't think the TTK is that much higher if at all, the players the guy is playing against in the video look very very very bad making him look better.

Obviously the movements faster but yeah I agree with you. Dudes he's playing are just bad.

Gonna cosign this as well, people are just eating all of his rifle shots.

Not only that, but especially at the beginning he's spraying on enemies that already appear to be engaged and thus may have lost some life already.

I guess I should specify. The movement is obviously faster. Boost makes that evident. But is the gunplay and time to kill that much faster? Or again, is this a product of a good player making the gunplay look even speedier?

I'd say it's only a tiny bit faster than 4, it looks supersonic because the dudes he's playing suck, lol.

Remove:
-Sprint
-Smart Scope
-Hover thingy that isn't used in this video
-Hit marker sounds

Everything else is wait and see or too minor stuff to really complain about. Thrusters look awesome.

Smart Scope obstructs your view so it isn't the same as zoom.

I really hope they don't move completely away from BTB though.

I'm gettting a bit bored of purely 4v4 / 5v5 gametypes. Ideally, I'd like a 12v12 in Halo on big maps. I really thought Destiny would do that but their 6v6 limit is rubbish.

I know BTB isn't good for competitive gameplay but it's really fun for casuals like myself.

I like how fast grenade throws are in Halo 5. Grenade throws in past Halo games have always felt wimpy, now Spartans throw those fuckers like baseballs.

Does it being different matter much? There is four Halos-worth of multiplayer available on Xbox One already
It matters. For example what if EA suddenly made FIFA into footbal manager, there are two FIFAs on next Gen consoles already so folks can just play that right?

All that does is scare away both the FIFA audience and the football manager audience as the game is a soulless mix of both games.

Every game has its unique identity. Halo has lost its own by chasing other games. Obviously people don't like it and just want to series to continue as Halo not as some hybrid between a dozen other games.

The new announcer is annoying as all hell. Big GAME Huuunterrrrrr and when the announcer said "Untouchable" I thought he said "Tangible!"

Guy on video who's played the game: "it's still halo, don't worry"

Prediction for thread: Omfg it's not halo, halo is dead

My only takeaway is I hope I never meet that guy online unless he's on my team

Haha. Alright neat. That's what I thought. Looked lightning fast but I was thinking his opponents were terrible.

I will say the guy playing is quite good too, always helps haha.

Looking forward to trying it out myself soon, haven't been excited for a Beta in a long time.

If 343 added a "sprint on/off" switch it would be a great move. I think a competitive gametype with sprint off, base speed at 120 -150% would be really good.

I also hope they add in the old zoom. Even though ADS is aesthetic, it obscures the screen and just looks bad.

What would you add to Halo, mechanically and design wise, after Halo 3?

Halo Reach and 4 chased other games, this really doesn't look like it is, maybe aside from sprint or ADS. And ADS isn't even the same as the games it is supposedly chasing.

Graphics look like H4. Need to see something without clean lines.

Looks solid, nice to see someone good for once.

ADS doesn't seem to matter at all.

Chatter is meh.

Extra moves like climbing ledges is cool.

Looks fast.

Honestly, it looks good to me. I will have a better opinion on it once I play the Beta. But people need to realize that not every game has played the same. Every single Halo has played differently, whether certain mechanics were completely overhauled or subtle tweaks added. The Master Chief Collection confirms that, Halo's 1 - 4 (and ODST and Reach that are not in there) all play differently.

If you don't like the way it plays, fine, it is your opinion. But the three most coveted Halo's (the original trilogy), all play differently.

Judge away

- Too damn fast.
-Shield regenerates real fast.
- Spartan chatter might be useful if you play alone and no one is using the mic.
- I don't like how the announcer saying when power weapons gonna drop. Everyone will be camping that spot trying to get it.
-ADS+Sprint

I don't know how i feel about this ...
Sorry but i think this looks awesome.

Reach suffered a lot more when it comes to gunplay and such. Armor lock being in the game as it is, is probably one of the biggest mindfucks possible. Active camo being available right as you spawn, sprint feeling awkward as fuck. Halo 4's issues stem from being way too loadout heavy and the ordnance system, everything else was great.

Idk about this but giving it a shot.

Announcing when power weapons show up has to go though. The Spartans talking is REALLY weird.

Its a 720p beta............with Halo 4 assets........

They arent throwing it out there to see whether people like the game visually.

Anyway Halo fans are so resistant to change. Some of the comments. The guy in the video summed it up at the start, dont judge it yet, just wait and give it a go before going off the deep end.

Looks fun to me.

Honestly, I hated Reach's active camo. You couldn't change it in custom games to always on, it always reacted to your movement. Straight up ruined some custom games I loved in Halo 3. Cant remember if Halo 4 kept it that way, but I hope H5 goes back to the straight up always on it used to be in 1-3.

It looks more like Halo 4: Part 2 to me than anything else. I know that should be obvious since it's made by the same team but it doesn't make much sense to compare this game to Advanced Warfare or whatever when there's another game more similar to it.

It looks fun to play.

I still think that the hit marker 'bleep' needs to go, and I'm not sure how feel about the ground pound.

Sprint... meh. I'd prefer it if they just increased the base movement speed. I think it'd feel fast enough with a solid movement speed and the thruster pack.

I don't like how they announce when the power weapons were spawning. I never did the spawn counting myself, but I've always been conscious about when they were gone and checked to see if they had spawned back or not. I'm guessing there will be modes where it's not enabled.

Still looks fun though. Bring on December.

This. As I've said many times, if people don't care for this evolved version of Halo, then just stick to MCC (when it's working) - why would they even want a new Halo game?

If there are going to be new Halo games then of course they need to change. The key is to keep the core gameplay intact - which this seems to have done. Can't wait, personally.
