Asami's reaction seemed totally normal to me, same with Mako's reaction about not receiving letters (although Korra only sent one, so it's not like it was a huge or ongoing slight). She was pissed at Korra for being so presumptuous and paternalistic after being gone for three years. Asami already knows that she can't trust her father and is on guard about it, but that doesn't mean she can't try to rebuild the relationship to a point where she might forgive him. It was not a "You can't tell me what to do", it was a "You think I didn't already know that" reaction. Asami was angry because Korra didn't trust her or think she had the character to recognize these issues on her own. It was supposed to be a sharing moment, not an advice moment.

Eh, everything there seemed to be platonic interactions that would otherwise happen among friends. Are we really saying Asami can't compliment Korra's hair without there being romantic subtext? A blush is not synonymous with romance, you can blush out of embarrassment, and Korra has never felt particularly confident in her own appearance, especially when comparing herself to Asami.

After re-watching the episode, I can say I did in fact enjoy this (going to start staying positive). But yeah, I really liked the reunion. I do kind of wish it was more emotional, and that we got a little more. But such is the way of things, I suppose. I agree with those that...Asami had a right to be angry. After all the shit she's been through, I actually expect her to be angry. Maybe, the way they handled her snapping was a bit strange. Because she hasn't gotten angry before. But I think her anger was justified, and logically made sense.

There's a reason why I never watch this show from Nick's shit site. I did it once last season with the first episode. Got more ghosting than the first Ghostbusters and now I just download it from a really good stream site. Nick will get my money from the Blu Rays. Sadly I can't watch this till I come back from the gym after work 
Based on what DiMartino said in that Q&A a few weeks back. That Nick has no plans for future soundtracks despite the first one selling pretty well.

Funnily enough Nick finally go around to fixing the ghosting issues a few weeks ago by showing the episodes at the right frame rate. Still took them over two years to do it.

So after 15 minutes of "server issues" the usual ad break at the 2/3rd mark happens and the server issues happen again. The streaming service doesnt even allow me to skip forward back to where I was watching. So now I have to rewatch the first two thirds and hope I can view the last third of the episode....thanks Nick.
