Someone is streaming GTA V on PS4

Why is Rockstar even bothering to waste time getting these taken down? It looks great so they have nothing to hide, seems to run fine, and it's a game we've all already played anyway lol. What a waste of resources.

It's especially idiotic considering it's a remaster of a game already out.

Well at least on the day the lastest patch was released (Monday maybe?) it took almost one hour to download the patch (~200MB).

Damn. An hour? Took me seconds. I'm always confused when I read people complaining about PSN. It's pretty much always been flawless for me. Might have something to do with where you live? I live in Japan, and I believe I'm pretty close to a datacenter.

Might get added in, but then i do think "man, if the streets were log-jammed with cars, it'll become a non-stop hassle to get from one side of the city to the other." Which makes me kind of want it to be less cars than that trailer showed off.

Actually I see why Rockstar are clamping down. The traffic and pedestrian density was an absolute lie.

Looks just as barren as the last games. What a joke.

Depends when you're watching. So far I've seen a lot of traffic in some areas and less in others. Looks like it depends on time and place :).
There was one part where he was on a bridge and you could see a huge line of trucks almost to the other end of the bridge. That looked really awesome. The diversity of vehicles in the traffic is definitely improved at least.

The more I see of the game the more I think the same.

On one of the streams the guy was driving around the main part of Los Santos and I didn't see a single pedestrian on the road on about 5 main streets, traffic density was about the same as the last gen version too.

I'm practically weeping tears of joy here. A few years ago I saw a gif of some racing game in first person cockpit view, I think it was Gran Turismo 5, and I posted something about hoping that one day there would be a GTA where that's what the driving was like. But I never thought it would actually happen. Fuck I can't wait for this... better make sure I finish Unity this weekend.

It wasn't a lie. They placed placed a bunch of cars on the highway at night in a specific location and captured it in-engine on a ps4. It was all running in-engine on the system. Trailer never said it was gameplay.

I think a lot of people agree with that sentiment. I drive in peak hour traffic every day and I'm definitely not looking to play a peak hour traffic simulator when I get home.

Everyone seems to agree that more pedestrians would be a great thing though, provided they can avoid the Unity effect.

Yeah I'm watching the livestream right now and it honestly doesn't look that different from last gen at all, wth. :\

FPS mode seems to be implemented in a rather lazy fashion aswell, looks like someone modded it in.

Will be skipping this.

Yeah, the traffic density is the one thing I'm disappointed in. Needs more cars (and more pedestrians).

All the added transitions and small animations, the attention to detail on guns, inside cars, etc. Not sure I follow.

Also couldn't disagree more that it doesn't look that different than the last gen versions. Other than the traffic it looks like a pretty decent jump to me.

Quality is a little better on this one:

The alex_sanna one is too pixelated for me.

Better quality, but he's not even playing in first person mode.

Are you nucking futs? This is going to be amazing.

I don't mind if the traffic is the same as on last gen. I'm buying it for the graphical and performance improvements and first person, so I'm still sold. :)

Well, looks like they haven't changed the driving one bit. I highly doubt they would have added an alternative driving option either. No need to buy the game now.

Tried preordering at best buy and got this.

Due to high demand, this item is sold out and has been removed from your order:

Grand Theft Auto V - PlayStation 4

r u srs ;__;

I watched one of the French streams on my PS4 and snapped a pic with my iPhone while he was in first person mode and then I just cropped the pic.

LOL I got a shot while he was using the in-game smart phone.
