Someone is streaming GTA V on PS4

Really starting to get worried about the pedestrian/traffic density judging from that german dude's stream....and I don't see what Rockstar was on about with their trailers. I'm recording as we speak for..science. Thumbs crossed for a day one patch.

The guy INSISTS on playing in third person, so I guess I'll be making some ghost town examples later tonight to compare with last gen. Anyone got some good screenshots to share from PS3? Central town or whatever doesn't matter.

EDIT:

Thanks! Much better.

It's hard to judge traffic/ped density in missions or when players have stars, both of which are situations where the city spawns are changed, and both of which have been the majority of streams I've watched. I definitely haven't seen anything close to the highway clip in the PS4 debut trailer, or even the scene where Franklin is walking down his block with lots of people around.

I guess the new stream was stopped (as expected) but jesus christ...the Twitch chat just for the few seconds I was in there was nothing but auto-spamming bots

Yep. GTA V its going to be a desolate wasteland. Watch out Day Z.

More like an abandoned city and a lesson in false advertising. Let's not forget this is a game that even today doesn't live up to the standards set by the first reveal trailer.

Now it's looking like it won't live up to the second reveal trailer either. Disappointing to say the least.

What's the black rectangle that appears in the upper left corner of the stream every few minutes? I've noticed it in several streams.

Maybe we should wait till the game actually comes out before accusing "lesson in false advertising."

We have no idea if there's a slider for traffic density, if density is tuned down in missions, if having police heat changes density, or if density is effected by certain times of day. The trailer showed a nighttime commute on the highway with a lot of cars driving by... But that doesn't mean that it's going to be like that every time of day, every day of the weak, just how showing a video of a thunderstorm in the game doesn't mean that there's a thunderstorm during every moment of gameplay.

I was expecting this

and this

That would be awesome. You would actually have to get out of the car and so would the cops. As you hide between the cars a chopper tries to find you. You could try to find a motorcycle and pass between the cars, etc.

GTAVI HAS to do it.

You're trying way too hard in this thread. Not sure if you're trolling or serious but why don't you just wait til the game is out and then you can make accusations? And for the record, I thought the 360/PS3 version of the game surpassed the hype/standards in the first trailer

That sneaking music on the stream right now is so Bully it hurts.

Rockstar PLS

Holy shit you're right. No wonder why I love that music...

These gameplay leaks have sort of let me down, doesn't seem that different at all. I will still buy it because I love GTA though.

Anyone think Gamestop will do a midnight release for this?

I know mine is. Here on the west coast the stores have now begun releasing games at 9pm as well.

You could watch people play the game for hours given all the different streams. I've seen a lot of the world already. Unless there's a patch coming out I doubt it's just a coincidence we're not seeing high traffic and pedestrians.

Seems like the big difference in traffic is that there's more consistency and variety in the spawns. It'll lead to less dead spots overall and less vehicle repetition. The density is bit improved, particularly at certain intersections, but overall traffic flow is still pretty predictable and still not as dense as I'd like. Highways look solid, but those have never really been the issue.

It's not GTA without bullet sponges.

Looks damn good though. Damn good.

It's not so much that they're spongey (1 or 2 more bullets would've killed the first 2 people and at least they fell over which is better than 99% of shooters) it's that there's no longer as much Red Dead Redemption style limb damage and AI awareness.

Yep, I was hoping for RDR-bullet damage in this. Heck, I was planning for it with PS3/360 GTAV and then I was disappointed, and so I was really hoping it'd make a return with this. In GTAV (360/PS3) there were too many 1-shot full recovers or 1-shot deaths. In rDR, you had so many more injury animations.

Does the ADS only center in slightly on all the guns or just the pistols? I don't know why but it's really bugging me that it won't go that extra bit towards the middle *twitch*

Can't you just upload the MP4 on mega.co.nz or so? please ^^

Looking through the footage now...sorry to say that it's 80% crap...even deleted most of it as it consisted of mostly just driving around and it looked like he was lost. The 20 minutes that GavinUK86 linked to is useable though. Download and watch that, good quality.

I hope this makes a return in whatever the next game it is that they release.
