Someone is streaming GTA V on PS4

Does a paper map come with the game? What about an instruction manual? Also, how is the strategy guide? Worth the scratch?

it makes finding all the collectibles easier, and it's helpful getting gold medals too.

Only issue is it'll be way out of date in terms of cars/weapons etc since all the updates.

They have to enforce their embargo, whether you like it or not, game websites abide to the embargo so that they can stay on good terms with Take 2, Rockstar, etc. Having some random streamers out there whilst game sites are hopeless is not cool for the game sites.

Are they analyzing every stream for pixel count to make sure they're launching their attack on next-gen footage and not last gen footage? Are they also banning last gen footage while leading up to the current gen launch?

would it not help if many here who think this stupid do like the Jealous haters and tweet at rockstar to tell them to leave the streams alone? They got their money just leave those people at peace

This streaming culling by R* makes me think that they are trying to hide something.

Maybe it's how some promises about increased vehicle traffic and pedestrians are not delivered in the shipped game. Maybe it's something the day 1 patch will address... or maybe it's something they don't want potential buyers to know until it's too late. Regardless, it's very shady on R*'s part.

Didn't they do the same thing with the first version of the game? Nothing I've seen so far really gives me cause for concern. The game looks great.

I think that would mostly be because R* is very tight lipped when it comes to GTA prior to releases, so for the most part it feels like squashing streams of the game before its official release would be par for the course... but I have only seen streams from two players and that was today, one was in the wilderness and one was in Los Santos, and I didn't really pick up on the traffic/population density, but who knows until we get the game in our hands.

It makes no sense that R* is actively taking down streams. The game has been out for a year so it's not like anything is really going to be spoiled.

yeah and yet they are putting all the extra effort. I don't get why.

You do know it's Rockstar we're talking about here.

Is the game fully patched on these streams? If not I can understand them not wanting potentially buggy software from being shown in a poor light prior to release. Why are people watching these streams? To see if the game is technically competent. Not for the story.

That voice mail about my Pre-order from Gamestop just came. The hype is real!

Then immediately after that was the same voice mail for Dragon Age.

Then immediately after that was the same voice mail for Far Cry.

Its patched. Patch downloaded immediately after the dude installed last night and he couldn't go online without it.

Preload for EU region is up. For me, it didn´t start automatically, I had to go to Library, GTA V and click on "Download" button under countdown. Preorder bonus is unable to download for some reason. It will start downloading update and 46GB file which will shrink in a few minutes into 640MB file. After download is finished, menu icon appears with countdown, rest of 46GB is downloading in the background. That´s all for today, going to bed and can´t wait for Tuesday.

Another thing about R* killing these streams so quick is because most of them are of poor quality. Most all the gifs I've seen have been from streams that have terrible quality... literally just a pixilated mess. I don't think that really helps the representation of the game.

Decisions, decisions... what are you going to play first???

The PS3/360 version has been out over a year. They aren't shutting those down. The PS4/XB1 versions aren't officially released yet and are under embargo. They haven't given an ok for anyone to stream the game. Do they look bad going after every streamer? Probably. But it's their product so what they do is up to them. I personally have no issue with people playing early...more power to them.

I should be getting 3.5MB per second. Internet test on ps4 shows 25.8Mbp/s, but im getting 200KB instead. Prior to 2.00 I was getting full speed. I think I'm going to ask for a refund tomorrow and buy it retail.

I know I'm not the only one who is experiencing this.

People are saying that you should pause and start the download to achieve proper speeds. Give that a shot and see if it works for you.

This is exactly what happened to me, glad I'm not the only one e with the bonus error.

Rockstar has been doing this since GTA4. They absolutely do not like for people to stream their games before they're officially available in stores. No other company goes after streamers as hard as Rockstar does.

Yeah, I had the same issue, for half minute I was going 3MBps, then for second half exactly 200KBps. Then again 3MBps. Weird.

Same scenario for me. The bonus will most probably download on Tuesday.
