Alien Isolation not being in GOTY is a travesty, such a great game and really deserves a GOTY nod.

I think that's a cool GOTY nominee list, Inquisition is the only game I haven't played yet. Dark Souls 2 is a surprise, but I did play a ton of it.

The GOTY picks are all good, I think. I feel like Donkey Kong and perhaps Smash should have been there, but there were only five slots.

And Telltale up for Developer of the Year? I love their games, but that's utterly laughable.

no AC Unity, remastered games, or shooters on that GOTY list is fucking great, lists so far have all been surprisingly good. Wish Smash WiiUgot something though, sucks they missed the cutoff

I thought DS2 was supposedly disappointing, but I actually loved Bayonetta 2 despite not being a big fan of the genre and Hearthstone is probably the best mobile game ever, so the GOTY list is overall very good.
