someone mentioned awhile back this. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00484IEJS/?tag=neogaf0e-20
i got this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F41TWAO/?tag=neogaf0e-20
review says it works with wii u. but i won't get it until later today.
Not strangely, it makes perfect sense. Mario is effectively the same role as Ryu in Smash bros. Not to mention he has a fireball, hurricane, uppercut, and his final smash is a big fireball. I always wondered why more people didn't see the clear Ryu similarities with him
any Mega Man mains here??...
I feel him "weird" compared to the 3DS version... I just can't connect any aerial and he seems a little more "slippery"... it's just me or there's something wrong?
Those are the same links but yeah I ordered that one. I'm getting it tomorrow. I should've ordered it in advance.
I'm nog Megaman main, but he's on my "fun" character rotation. He feels pretty much the same. I noticed the Uair tornado is a lot bigger, dunno if it has a larger hitbox or what.
Honestly, your probably just not used the the controller. Your hands are used to the rigid 3DS controls. Wii U control stick makes movement more fluid. And Megaman already has pretty strict timing for his aerials to hit (especially bair and dair).
Yeah, it's probably this. You have to move the control stick wih different amounts of force to maneuver yourself.I'm nog Megaman main, but he's on my "fun" character rotation. He feels pretty much the same. I noticed the Uair tornado is a lot bigger, dunno if it has a larger hitbox or what.

Did any overarching mechanics change? It's just little changes per character, right? Also, I believe the Wii U mechanics mirror the "revised" 3DS ones, which he/she may not yet be used to.
And the third party gouging begins.

You are scaring me.

Are there any preliminary tier lists?

Are there any Stage Builder unlockables? I miss those falling platforms from Brawl.
Apparently you can't start 3 smash tour runs and quit out to get pac-land. You actually have to complete full games on all 3 maps. That's 45 mins minimum![]()
No, there aren't any unlockable parts for the stage builder.
Why the fuck would they do this? What kind of unlock requirement is that? Bulllllllshit.
Damn. And the third party gouging begins.

At my best buy, I kid you not, 100+ pre orders for Smash waiting to be picked up. This was not including the stock on the floor.
The hype is real.
I'm not next to my router or modem so it'd be uselessA LAN connector is $10 on Amazon.
A Paco de Lucia gif in a Smash Bros thread... now I've seen everything.probably mario, strangely

Online is unplayable lol
I have some pretty bad lag on wifi, but I haven't tried playing with the settings yet.Not according to the vast majority of people in this thread. Also not according to those using LAN.
Be more specific!
Haha I'm glad I could help. Before we go any further, since the game is finally released:
Every time I see your name I read it as "Beelzebub Info". It started sometime in the POTD thread and I has continued to this day. Thank you for giving me a chuckle.
I really see why people want the GC for this.
I have the Pro Controller and I'm struggling to get comfortable.
Thanks for the info guys, Kandinsky, I assume you are on LAN?
This sounds so glorious!
FYI:
Unlocking the duck hunt stage unlocks... duck hunt.
So just play cruel smash and get 1 ko, gives you his stage and the character, for anyone that wants to unlock him asap.

I think I'll chance it with the wifi

Makes me wonder if Nintendo underestimated the demand for them and went with a very limited run for the moment...

Well I am using the standard wifi connection and input lag is hilariously bad on top of just plain old lag in the few games I have played.
