Yeah I'll add you on xbone whenever I decide to get Master Chief collection. I also have a Wii U for super smash and already have you in PS4. I wouldn't be opposed to a thread in the community section for Avatar fans. We can even trick James Cameron fans into joining.

It would be pretty swell to hang with KorraGAF even after this show is over. I actually like this community: nice people, no assholes (well, no assholes who get under my skin anyway), no drama (again, none that annoys me). A community thread would be awesome.

A ton of people were claiming he was a straight up douchebag and terrible human being. I even tried defending against that at one point. I don't think there's any room to try to suggest that people were saying he's an "accidental douchebag." If it's accidental, then he's not really one and has some other problems.

He's not exactly aware of how his actions effect other people. Not damning but it's something he should learn to be conscious of.
 
Why is the pace of the story going so slow? Even lolunalaq was moving at a faster pace than Kuvira.

At least we finally got the bolin we deserved. We need more Bolin.
 
The Unalaq portrayal in this episode needs more attention. I love how they made him look like a stereotypical supervillain, probably to acknowledge the complaints that he was obviously going to be the bad guy but at the same time the plot made it seem like he had good intentions. And none of the other villains liked Unalaq apparently, just like the fanbase lol

Probably for a lack of budget, we dont know if this affected other episodes,but its a possibility.

Yes, that was good, speaking of that, at this point im starting to think Unalaq > Kuvira, he was stupidly evil, but Kuvira is...i dont know.

These last episodes should really focus on her :/

Ah. Yeah. He went with the xbone version because I think he played the EA Access thing. I'm a PS4 guy. Funny enough none of my IRL friends play DAI so if I ever need to play the multiplayer it'll be exclusively with GAF folks.
 
Man did that Mako portion of the recap went on far too long, that needed some goddamn trimming. Also, the conversation between Korra and Asami could have been more indepth. Perhaps actually acknowledging the intentions of her past villains were reputable. There wouldn't be a elected president in Republic City without Amon. The Earth Queen and her kingdom were badly in need of a second wind. Etc etc etc.

Of course Bolin and Varrick delivered as per usual.

The irony is that without most of Korra's Villain's Republic City would still be a hell hole for nonbenders. The Earth kingdom would still be under the rule of a harsh tyrant and the spirit portals would still be closed. (Not like they should have remained open anyway.) The only thing Korra did of note was stop Vaatu, outside of that she did jack shit for the world.
 
Not to say anything about your point, but it just sounds kind of funny because you're basically saying "Outside of saving the world, she did nothing for the world"

But that is the problem as well, because I was giving her that, even though Fairy Queen did more than her in retrospects.

Korra suffers from the opposite of a lot of main characters do. Usually they show a heroic trait or something else before they find out that they are super special awesome.

Korra on the other hand just feels like she is super special awesome without actually showing any traits that define her as a main character or hero.
 
Really? Really? Really?

I get home after work and jump straight to Korra all excited, expecting a episode with Toph and hopefully some Kuvira development. But instead it's a clip show? Only 13 episodes and they decided to completely waste one with a clip show? Not even the good kind like Ember Island Players, but one using the actual boring clip format. And to make matters as worse as possible, the first half is taking Mako and the cringeworthy romance, the absolute worst thing about the entire series, and shoving it right down my throat. Damn, I had to fight myself not to just quit mid-episode.

I guess it's partially my fault for trying to go in blind, expecting awesomeness. Should have known better than to have blind faith by now. Haven't been this frustrated with this show since Book 2.

Speaking of Book 2 though, Varrick taking a steaming dump on Unalaq and that entire season was the one redeeming part of this episode. Couldn't help but smile at them acknowledging how absolutely ridiculous that was, especially the finale. Being saved by the Queen of the Fairies out of nowhere is pretty much exactly what happened!

And the reaction of the fire/waterbender people is pretty much the exact same as the defensive fans that thought it was awesome. "It's just a cartoon, don't overthink it!" Lmao.
