The game is great. I had to change the controller layout for the wii u gamepad because the default layout was atrocious to me. Switched the grab to the z buttons and shield to the ZL and ZR buttons. Also switched jump to B, attack on A and X and special on Y. Feels a lot more like melee that way. Also online has been overall good. Had some games that were flawless and others that had a lot of lag, but overall a good experience.

Looks as though I was foiled. Even though my Best Buy said on their webpage that I could order a controller adapter for store pick up right now, when I add it to my cart it's out of stock everywhere. Damn you Best Buy!

Play 100 matches or play cruelest smash and knock one guy out.
Just got home from work with my copy and gc controller. To warm up I went three stock, no items, final destination. Me as samus and cpu on random level 6. I won so played another round same set up. Decided to go cpu level 9 and ended up fighting against Fox. I though surely I would lose but man my Melee days came back to me in a snap (I didn't play brawl or the 3ds version) and I ended up winning. My gosh I haven't felt that Smash Bros. magic in a long time. This game is great.
That costs me an extra $40 since I don't own 3ds. Any way to just buy the soundtrack?

Master and Crazy orders are so fun. I didn't think I'd enjoy them this much, but it's like a randomly generated event mode and the rewards are generally pretty good.

Off TV play is constant an automatic. Just pick up the GamePad. You literally can't turn it off.

Yeah, surprisingly the best Solo mode.
I wish my luck would not suck for Crazy Orders.

When I try to play using the gamepad as a TV (I don't have a TV) it just shows the character cards and their percent on a black screen, not the battle.
Edit: This seems to be the problem at least in regular smash, not classic mode for some reason.
Damn here was totally the opposite, I was actually looking at the 3DS games stands to see if somebody appeared to get Pokemon but nothing. Still is a win/win for Nintendo, hah.

No Up B out of shield is kind of a bummer when I'm playing Samus. I have been mixing it up with Wii Fit trainer and Robin. Robing is my weakest but that priority is awesome.
