Trying to play with a gamecube controller using the gamepad as a screen while my wife watches tv.

The gamepad screen defaults to showing character percentage instead of the gameplay if it's not am active controller.

Any way to change this so I can do off tv play with my controller?

You can transfer custom fighters that you made on the 3DS to the Wii U. You can transfer all the ones you made for a specific character, but you have to do it one by one for every character. It doesn't unlock stuff on the Wii U even if you transfer a custom slot that has custom moves. : x

If you unlocked all stages, then you can go to to the More Rules in the Rules section and you will see Random Stage Select or something like that. It won't appear if you don't have all stages.

For those playing with pro controllers how are you feeling it

Pro controller is great for this game, I'm really enjoying playing the game with it. People gave this controller hell for the lack of analogue triggers but they're a godsend here, very little travel so it's super easy to activate the shields.

That'll be part of a later update. Sonic model is replaced with the Boom model and all taunts will be "You're too slow".
