Aside from the four main baddies bit that was awful. Simply awful.

Curious how they knew Amon was dead but I take it they recovered the charred bodies after someone noticing the boat going boom.

How about this.

"I hope to see, Kuvira, on the other-side of that conference call soon…"

or this

See? It exists!

Thank you Hamlet, these are good.

We know they're dead, ergo the characters know.

Don't ask any questions. Half of Varrick's story was referencing shit he wasn't even around to see. It is what it is.

I heard the episode was bad.

I certainly didn't expect this.

But the Bolin/Varrick "recap" and the fucking phone conversation killed me.

Woof is sitting down having a cigarette. The korra thread approaches him.

"Hey woof. You think we will not have sexual talk of any kind today?"

Woof slowly turns his face towards the thread. "Not today korra thread. Today we will discuss something else. Something less risque. Like the state of the show and the writing quality "

Disappointed the Korra thread signals the hospital guards to come take Woof away.

Woof finishes his cigarette. He begins to stand up. Before the guards approach he turns to the korra thread one last time.

"Would you rather live as a monster? Or die a good man?"

The end.

Moral of the story is korra makes it hard to have discussion with this shitty season. Dragon age and smash will save me.

The seasons probably should have been reorganized and rewritten.

Then again, with all the vast characters and people in the Avatar world, why do we have to focus on the Avatar?

Fuck I'd be down with a group of mercenaries or pirates or something going around the Avatar world getting themselves caught in weird situations. Bigger doesn't always mean better after all.

After probably traumatizing him last night, enjoy these:

Aw yessss. The first one is the best of the bunch.

#dead But yeah, slow season is slow. Your story was better than Korra's recap last night.

Good thing I still have (a glitches up) Halo to play.
Wish they never did this season.
Forget that, we got Kuvira this season, homie.

I see it's already "mid-week" for Korragaf.
Tch, they might as well use that fan animation that has been coloured for episode 8.

Edit: In a typical narrative, Toph would most likely lose. OR Kuvira and her armée could lose, but still get a lot of dem tree.

We'll find out the week after next week! Next week will be more Mako training and Korrasami hints followed by Katara soothing us with stories of her and Aang.

I honestly don't know how they wrap this up.

A desperate attempt to make things in the story clear thanks to some kind of backstory a-bomb drop which doesn't really work, followed by at least one deus ex machina and a sudden happy ending that falls flat.

...that's usually how these things go.

A clip episode... in 2014?

Nick slashed the budget for Book 4 and it was either do a clip show or let go of a significant amount of workers early.
We got the news from the higher-ups that our Book 4 budget was getting slashed, almost to the tune of an entire episode’s budget. We had two options: 1) let go a significant number of crew members several weeks early, or 2) make a clips episode. We never considered the first option. We weren’t going to do that to our crew, and even if we were callous enough to do so, we never would have been able to finish the season without them.

So I read that the clips episode was because of the budget slash and they refused to fire a bunch of people. Is that correct?

Correcto. Still contracted to do 13 episodes for Nick, I am not sure its possible just have 12 without legal trouble from Nick (I wouldn't put it pass those buggers).

They're going to have an entire fan made korrasmi episode made at this rate.

My ideal Korra finale wouldn't even have a footnote on Korra's relationship status.
Mine neither. She can become a celibate nun for all I care. Just...learn something at the end of this season and if "balance" just equates to curb stomping kuvira into dust then I'm fucking rioting.
