Please do. I promise I'm not this horrible. First sonic I fight against in this game, and I can't see a weakness. He's always rolling or in the air, and is way too fast, strong too and he does lots of damage

You were pretty good against me with Little Mac when we played in the 3DS version but, then again, I was a real newcomer back then and I've improved substantially ever since.

It's probably about forcing him, at least from the way I play, to be patient. Those I've had the most difficulty going up against here are Shamrock and Anonymous Tipster, and it's because they would actively block and spot dodge effectively against any of my approaches, punishing them accordingly. There's also the awesome zoning game they had which makes it hard to go in (Mega Man and Ness), but additionally, going against them meant I couldn't just roll recklessly and expect to corner the opponent and overwhelm them that way since being predictable with it would actually put me in a bad spot. Basically, making it so I can't roll as much in a match will make it easier for you against him.

I've also stop playing the 3ds version and gotten rusty, I totally stopped playing

I played a few rounds with my brother, and the game is awesome, though I've become quite rusty since the time I played Smash on the N64. 8v8 is great and pretty hectic. Anyone here beat 1v7LV9 AI? Is it possible?

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't play like that normally. It does make for an intense and thoughtful battle

That's how it felt going up against the other two I had difficulty playing against; as though my speed were being restricted.

Connection error joining Shamrock's room and now I'm staring at a black screen. I think I'm gonna have to restart and try rejoining.

oh great, just like the good ol brawl days.

Trey are you still playing?

Gotcha. Had to pick my main back in Brawl Olimar lol wish he wasn't nerfed, I miss my 6 pikmin

This finally finished downloading adn then it threw up an error about my USB stick and I have to redownload the entire thing
#art
I had friends over tonight and we were looking forward to playing it. Mess

I just had a 1 v 1 with Trey, some noticeable input lag that tripped me up a bit. Hopefully that subsides.

yeah, I was hoping the close proximity would give us a favorable latency. though I've been spotty all afternoon for some reason. It was flawless this morning. I guess it's time to get that ethernet cable.

God damn, my boy Link feels way better. I didn't even notice in the 3DS version but his uair, bair and dash attack are all awesome now.

Anyone else a really big fan of how every attack has an effect on it now?

Goddammit!

Edit: Also, sorry about those early hits at the start of the last match, Trey. Didn't realize friendly fire was on.

son who is you telling. I was trying to body you for like half the match. Everyone was catching knees, I had no idea who was on my team.

So is there any Metroid Prime music that wasn't in Brawl save the dumb Hunters theme? Music choice has been all over the place. Kid Icarus has like its entire soundtrack remixed but Wario gets nothing, Metroid Prime ignored almost entirely, three more DK jungle themes on top of every single old one...

For the hell of it, here are all the Brawl tracks that are missing in the game (not including Melee tracks). Will spoiler for the sake of individuals who want to find disappointment at their own pace.

Gritzy Desert
Ground Theme 2 (Super Mario Bros.)
The Map Page / Bonus Level (Donkey Kong Country)
DK Jungle 1 Theme
Molgera Battle
Termina Field
The Great Sea (Replaced with new arrangement)
Opening / Menu (Metroid Prime)
Yoshi's Island (Replaced with new arrangement)
Forest / Nature Area (Original)
Checker Knights
Wild Pokémon Battle! - Pokémon Diamond / Pearl (Replaced with new arrangement)
Humoresque of a Little Dog
You Call This a Utopia?!
Ai no Uta
Tane no Uta
Ai no Uta (French Version)
Mona Pizza's Song (JP)
Mona Pizza's Song
Mike's Song (JP)
Mike's Song
Famicom Medley (Replaced with new medley)
Balloon Trip (Replaced with new arrangement)
Power-Up Music (Wrecking Crew)
Douchuumen
Electroplankton
Title (Big Brain Academy)
Mii Channel (3DS's new arrangement is nowhere to be seen, probably will be on Miiverse)
Wii Shop Channel
Shaberu! DS Cooking Navi
Charge! (Wii Play)
Every Metal Gear track, of course
Scrap Brain Zone
Emerald Hill Zone
Sonic Boom
Super Sonic Racing

I'm assuming that all the tracks I have plus the CDs behind Challenges I have yet to do are all the songs in the game (it adds up to the 437 we saw in the direct), but it's possible I'm wrong and am somehow missing some more music. I've seen the Smash Bros Miiverse fansite report at least one of them as being in the game, though I'm not sure where they heard that. If you've unlocked any of these, let me know.

Why no humoresque of a little dog AHHHHHHH

If we go by Smash Miiverse ' s numbers, though, there are more than 437
