Guys, I don't understand what the Beautification event (w Rosalina) needs me to do. Anyone wanna clarify the instructions? Or do i just not understand how Lip's Stick works? I beat one of the Bowsers using it and he seemed to just respawn instead of staying dead.

It comes out on Saturday doesn't it, so you wouldn't get it til atleast Monday id imagine.

Yeah I did. I don't expect it until Mon/Tues seeing as that's when Bayo 2 arrived. Works for me though because I work all Saturday as well as Sunday/Monday mornings so I can't have my Smash party until then anyway.
 
That feeling when you get scolded by Miiverse mods for posting "spoiler" pics of Mr. Game & Watch...When the game itself nonchalantly dropped a huge ass Xenoblade spoiler via a tip between battles.
 
So playing it since last night, just thought I'd share my impressions.

-it really is gorgeous. No video can really do it justice. Even the imported Brawl Stages look great with its sharper textures and new lighting.

-Surprised how hard the Credits Minigame is compared to the 3DS version. I've beat it with 6 or 7 characters and have only gotten 100 percent twice.

-absolutely staggered by the music selection. Can't wait until I unlock every single track.

-Love the challenges over the 3DS version. More actual challenges, and not just time wasters.

Still have a lot to try out like Smash Tour.
 
WTF @ this black magic Pro-Controller though. I bought it with Bayonetta 2 and have only charged it ONCE since then with easily >50 hours of use between Bayo 2, MK8 DLC, and now Smash. This thing is a beast.

I haven't charged it at all in several months. Granted it's not my most frequently used controller, but I swear the thing is possessed by the ghost of the Energizer Bunny.

I've had mine since Hyrule Warriors came out, haven't charged it since then. I checked the home screen today and it still says it's only halfway empty
 
I'm havin a bit of a tough time in For Glory. I'm not losing a whole bunch, but the input lag of online is driving me nuts. I feel like I can't react fast enough to what the other person is doing. That and the fact that I'll never fully get used to the pro controller. I'll be needing that adapter soon.

Bleh. I normally just pre-order from JB in person but I was under the impression the Smash GCN adapter bundle and controller were only available via delivery on their online store.

Is that actually the case, or would they have that bundle in their store on launch day?

It is honestly one of the best controllers ever made and you can even use it with the adapter on the PS3.
 
God damn this game is just majestic. Everything just works so freaking well, even online MP! I played like 10 matches in For Fun mode and all of them were smooth as butter on a plate of hot cakes. No LAN adapters or anything fancy just through simple Wi-Fi connection. I was expecting the worst but omg it worked flawlessly. Freaking kudos to Bamco, Sakurai, Nintendo, Yamauchi, Mario Bros and everyone who made this game possible.

I have never fought a Wii Fit Trainer or Gannon. Wii Fit was a real wtf lol. Thanks for the fights.
