ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss reports Jonas Gray was not permitted to practice on Friday because he showed up late to the Patriots' facility.

Uh oh. The Patriots are a zero-tolerance team when it comes to matters like this, and for as great as Gray was in fantasy football last week, he is a replaceable player. That is especially the case after New England signed LeGarrette Blount to a two-year deal on Thursday. Gray's usage for Week 12 against the Lions is now entirely uncertain. Blount could steal his role.
UH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Lol I got another counter offer. Chris Ivory and Davante Adams for Torrey Smith. I'm just gonna roll with Herron this week and decide between Smith and Sanu for my flex over the rest of the season.

Wouldn't Vereen still get the majority of carries instead?

It's hard to say who will get the majority when it comes to the Patriots.

Assuming Foster starts this week (he and Lacy will be my RB's), do I start Lamar Miller or LaFell/Crabtree/Randle? (1/2 ppr)

Vereen is the passing down back, Gray/Blount short yardage/hammer back. The roles do not mix. I expect Pats to sign Kevin Faulk and Corey Dillon later today and they'll probably handle all the carries.

btw an update:
Per Garofolo, Gray's "phone died," which he was ostensibly relying upon as an alarm. He drove straight to Gillette Stadium, but was promptly sent home by the Patriots' coaching staff. Garofolo reports Gray has texted teammates to apologize, including Tom Brady. He is "hoping" to get Bill Belichick to hear his side of the story "this afternoon." We wish young Jonas the best of luck.
Good luck on your future endeavors Gray. :D

Randle I guess but only because it's PPR. Otherwise LaFell.

The theory is that, with Detroits' good run defense, Vereen will see a lot of outside dump offs and such. They're not running in that line.

And someone was asking about the Buffalo game on the last page. Not sure if many have heard but that game has been postponed to Monday at 7. They're playing in Detroit. Would explain all of the nonsense going on with ESPN last night.

It's looking like Alfred Blue is starting Sunday. Foster didn't practice again. I have some choices to make. I'm trying to figure out my flex since my WRs and RBs are set (Dez, Odell Beckham, Matt Forte, CJ Anderson).

Here are my flex options:
Roddy White - WR (vs. Browns, scored 3 out of 4 past weeks)
Sammy Watkins - WR (vs. Jets, put up 153/1td 4 weeks ago against them)
Alfred Blue - RB (vs. Bengals, 3rd most points to RB + huge workload)
Denard Robinson - RB (vs. Indy, 4 huge games in a row+ 5th most points to RB + Gray scorched them)
Isaiah Crowell - RB ((vs. Atl, most fantasy points to RB)

lesser extent:
Jordan Matthews - WR (vs. Ten, 60 points over last 3 games)
Sanu - WR (vs. Houston, most fantasy points to WR)

Need some WR and Flex advice. Non-PPR, 12 team league.

Right now I have:

WR - Roddy White
WR - Malcom Floyd
Flex - Bishop Sankey

Bench:

Michael Floyd (2 TDs last week, but those were his only two receptions. Fitzgerald seems to be a game-time decision tomorrow so maybe Floyd will get more targets?).
Gio Bernard (Going to be his first week back and Hill has been playing well).

2 decisions in 2 different standard, non-PPR leagues.

Pick 2: Jonas Gray, Mark Ingram, Ryan Mathews
Pick 2: Larry Fitzgerald, Malcom Floyd, Cecil Shorts, Reggie Wayne

Do I go with Roddy White (who is playing against the Browns) or do I risk it and play Britt (who is playing against the Chargers)?
Roddy White. He'll see the burnable Buster Skrine at CB.

1) Ingram and Mathews. Game Flow doesn't favor Gray and Blount probably takes his jerb.
2) Shorts III and Floyd. Shorts wil be a target monster and has always been a garbagetime hero, and Malcolm Floyd should get a few big plays in.
Can't decide at WR: Emmanuel Sanders or Jordan Matthews?
oooo... I want to say Sanders but Matthews has been racking it up Eh go Sanders.

White, Sankey, Michael Floyd if Fitzgerald sits. If not, Malcolm.

I'm fighting for the last playoff spot with the guy I'm playing today. I have to start 2/4.

1) ODB vs Cowboys
2) Mike Evans vs bears
3) Reggie Wayne vs jags
4) roddy white vs Browns

I'm also starting rashad Jennings vs Cowboys so I'm a little hesitant of starting two giants

RB conundrum. Ivory or Vereen or McKinnon? Or do I bench Watkins in the lowest O/U game this week and start 2 of these guys?

If I win a clinch a round 1 bye.

Do not start 2 of these guys. Keep Watkins in. As for whom you play...they'll all probably end up around the same amount of points(10). Who has the best upside? Probably Ivory (who is also on my team behind Forte/Jennings and Gore for that matter). Yes, Ivory sucked against the Bills the first time around but this game is in DETROIT!!!

Sanchez or Mccown??

Huge game today for me. Game of the week in my league....

Opponent has j matthews, not sure if smart to play sanchez or not because of it...

He also has cutler playing while i have b. Marshall.

Need WR/Flex help.

Anquan Boldin, Mike Evans, Marques Colston, Doug Baldwin.

Currently starting Boldin and have Evans in the flex. Thoughts?

I would also go with Boldin and Evans. Are you in a PPR league?

Maybe switch out Colston for Evans with Cooks being out for the season for NO that could increase Colston's looks, but that's a close call.

Every week I have trouble deciding who to start between Bouldin and Crabtree. Any thoughts?

Rollo, I'd probably go with Andre Johnson.

Both Crabtree and Boldin have potential to have a field day today against the Skins secondary. If you're in a PPR league I would say go with Boldin, but that's a tough call since Crabtree may go off on a big play or two. Boldin has been good to me these last few weeks but I also don't have to decide between him and Crabtree.
